well, I can;t get to sleep right now. A girl in my dorm got found in someone's backyard, no where near the college. She was concious but literally "found" by police. The police and college public saftey come in the dorm at about 1:10 am asking some guys if they had seen the girl's roomate. They said they had just got in. I was on my way back from the bathroom when I saw them and they asked me where my RA was. I knocked on her door (thanks goodness she was up) and stood there while they explained that the one girl was in the hospital (they didn't know what was in her) and that her roomate was missing. They left and my RA looked up the girl's name on facebook (under my suggestion) to try and find a cell number. No such luck. Then she and someone else went downstairs to find someone and another girl on my floor asked me what happened. I told her and she said that she just saw the girl's roomate walk into her room. i knocked on her door and led her to where the RA was. Then she called college public safety and police and talked to them. Since then, I've been trying to listen in through my door (which is really cool when you want to hear something in the hall). But no info since then. I hope she's ok.
Sorry about telling you guys! I couldn't wake my roomate and I had to tell someone. And since you guys don't know them, it's ok.
Wow, Dre informed that my profile indeed says I am male--I don't even remember filling anything out there. Weird...though that does explain a few things...oh well, it is now absolutely correct.
Wow, Dre, that's really scary. I hope she's okay.
thanks
I can't really sleep now. Plus it is so hot in my room.
I can't sleep because...well...I can never sleep anymore. This is all going to catch up with me very soon!
Aww Dre we were just talking but I was babbling away like I have a tendency to do and just saw your post...hoep everything's okay, you just said you were going to sleep, so that's a good thing.
Said this earlier, but I found V/V in fye records in the vhs musical section for $5. Finished it today. Soo great to see Julie in a broadway show, very very funny, and the staging and dancing was really appealing. All the door-switching was great, and Rachel York is some talent...I've seen her live in Dessa Rose and at Ragtime at Papermill, playing very motherly, soprano-like roles so to see her in this completely different role but so fantastic is great, I am officially a huge fan of hers if I wasn't already.
And Greg, what can you say? Of course weird to hear the boss said in yet another accent, just when you get use to his andre voice and regular voice, another one gets thrown on you lol. I was disappointed last night/the first act b/c his role wasn't that big but I saw it grew in the second act. So great, and I agree that finale is great, so glad he got to show off that voice and the audience looved it.
Definitely one I will be watching quite a few times, and I seriously only browse the musicals to see if there's any videos out I didn't know about to check the library for, I couldn't belive it was there...
Oh and got Out-Of-Towners from the library tongiht. I saw the movie when it came out, don't think I loved it, so prob will only watch Greg's scene b/c if I do remember it was quite funny. Also got camp for anyone interested, heard as a theater geek I need to see it, and planned to watch it tonight, except I got invited to a poker game, course lost some money, just got back so will hopefully watch these tomorrow.
Last couple of days of freedom before classes Thurs...
but DRS prob one fo the Wed shows but small chance tomorrow, that makes me mucho happy! The whore actually hasn't seen the show in 2 months, she's not being a true DRS whore by going that long w/o seeing it, plus I think I'm in a tad withdrawal. I really cannot believe how obsessed with this show I have become lol.
Well, even though I'm a tad tired, always need excuses to do or things to entertain myself at 3am so put in Out-of-towners. Somehow I got really confused, not sure of I'm confusing the movie or just the character, but I somehow convinced myself that Greg played some kind of err man whore who was bi...really think I may be mixing up movies here...oopsy...
Anyway, saw the real scene which was still quite funny, though it is starting to put very wrong thoughts in my head about the sink...
But here's the best part...if you look closely after the leader of the group tells Steve and Goldie that they're giving Greg bad encouragement, vibes whatever, it cuts to Greg looking at them and he does a slight frowning face...not to the extent but I caught a very early still-in-experiment Andre face!! Not quite as emphasized on stage, but still recognizable as a part of the Andre face IMO. I wonder if this scene was its earliest incarnation..
ulgh, still not getting sink thoughts outta my head...

Question. Kind of strange since I"ve seen it three times, but... Is DRS a show where facial expressions really add to it? Like, Spamalot? I can't really see facves from any row in the theater, and I know I lose a lot form that, plus missing some of the scenery. Blech. Oh well! GOing tonight!

yeah i think the facial expressions REALLY add to it.
like at the end when shere comes back and norb is trying to say no to john without her hearing it..his face is awesome.
and the whole ruprecht thing is amazing.
if they didn't have the facial expressions, it wouldn't be worth anything.
AND Greg and Joanna have the best facial expressions...pretty much through the whole thing.
are you going to see it tonight?? is that what you said? thats soo cool!!
Hi guys. I'm just popping in here to let you know about my favorite DVD web site. It's called Deep Discount DVD and they have the V/V DVD with Greg for $15.41. That's about 2.50 less than Amazon AND they don't charge any shipping!

This sounds really strange, but... I can sort of tell what they're doing, even if I can't see faces. I know it sounds so strange, but i've been like this for so long, I guess I just picked it up? EH, I don't know, but that's all right.

Hi girls.
I have just listened to the news about Katrina.
Wow, and I was upset about that little flood we have...stupid me.
I hope none of you lives in Florida or New Orleans.

Yay, I can see that DRS's Broadway gross is back on top again (90%).
That's why...we couldn't be happier, simply couldn't be happier

Hey everyone. Glad to see DRS is back to normal in the grosses, but I feel very sorry for All Shook Up. It's going to close soon, I can just feel it.
Haha, yeah I was sleeping. I couldn't get to sleep last night for anything. I finally dozed off around 4:30. Just woke up.
I feel so bad for New Orleans. Where I live in FL only got a couple storms.
Hi Annie. That was no 'little' flood you had. The degree of devastation down South hasn't hit anyone here fully yet. It's the worst natural disaster EVER to hit the US. I wish I wasn't so BLANKETY BLANK old and worthless. I'd be with the first group of Red Cross volunteers on my way down there.
If you all have a chance, say an extra prayer for those folks. (I'll add a personal request for my friend Michelle. She lives in Biloxi and nobody's heard from her since before the hurricane hit. That's not surprising, but still....) The various levels of 'bad' down there just can't be imagined. Today they can add the heat and humidity. It's supposed to be horrible and there's no communications, power, or clean water and it might be a month or more before they get any. I wish I were Bill Gates and could fly each and every one of them up here until they get everything 'fixed'!

OMG, I hope that Michell is ok.
That is so sad and depressing. Most people lost everything they had they worked for.
After Cunami I also send money to the Red Cross but it's just money, if I could I would go and help them personally.
I have friends in New Orleans.. not sure how to contact them.
Hurricanes are so scary. And I thought Charlie was bad. Charlie basically wiped out a couple places right next to where I live. Pretty much every person's house was destroyed. When I drive through now, it's a city of mobile homes that the city set up for them to live in. I remember that so well because it was supposed to hit where I live dead on, and on the day it made landfall, it took a turn to the north and spared us. The damage here was still bad though. Out of power for 8 days. It's something I'll never forget. So I'm keeping everyone effected by Katrina in my thoughts.
