ok, i was looking at old slideshows and in one, it says Polo Chino, Polo-Ralph Lauren, and Mark Shale (never heard of them). decided to stop. but those are some of the brands from last year that he mentioned.

OMG, how did I not put any DRS quotes in my review? Slap me Traci!

Well, here's the page containing my 4...semi-long posts...thought I'd be nice in breaking them down...regarding tonight

I didn't get into the party, but...brief long story. It appeared very difficult anyway. Traci, when you called you're damn lucky I didn't answer the phone, all you would have heard was me complaining about my feet hurting(we were walking!).
They still really hurt!

Ooh, briefly, DRS at Easter Bonnet. They did a serious skit, had 2 guest speakers talk about facing cancer and other dillemas and how Actors Fund helped them get better. It was like a 6-part harmony...think of them snapping and stuff...it was Dennis S, Jeremy, Chuck, Steve, Will, and...Travis??? Anyway, it was great! Dennis started and ended it, and gave the final really low note, he was great, and of course everyone else was. Yay for DRS, nice people, and cute bellboys!

I have to get up at 8:30 for a doctor's appointment. Pretty soon I'm thinking it would be smarter to just skip sleep all together..

finally finished reading the review. sounds awesome amanda! sort of wish I was there. You said that you loved Daphne and that she was the only Mimi. Was she really that good, cause I really don;t like her voice on the cast recording. I prefer Rosario's on the movie soundtrack.

I must say though, that the best soloist I've heard for SoL was the one we saw, amanda, when I was still a Rent virgin. Remember her? you were upset that Frenchie wasn't there but it was her understudy. And she was incredible!

oh and I'm confused by this line that you wrote in the review: She had the boots, just leopard pants instead of the leopard pants. haha, i know you were tired, but what was she wearing? haha.

Dre, did you read the line in my review before Goodbye Love where I mentioned loving Krystal Washington and saying she was better than the one on the recording, and how I was ashamed to admit that now? It's about so much more than the singing with Mimi. You need the voice, the sass, the choreography, and especially, the vulnerability. That's something a lot of Mimis lack. Let's see...we had...Karmine, who does happen to be better than most with the vulnerability but still. Trust me, no one compares to Daphne.

Right, I really liked the sub. I was upset Frenchie was out because I was worried I'd have the same small white girl fill-in that I had once who was terrible at the solo. But we were pleased with ours. Still again...it's...pointless, and slightly unnecessary comparing anyone to the OBCers. I can't explain it. Some may surpass them vocally, or in dancing, or whatever...but...with this show...they are it. They created these roles, they worked with Jonathan, they bonded, they experienced Jonathan's death and that first performance after it. No cast I have ever seen has as much chemistry as they do, and...I mean read a bit more what people are saying on the main board about the difference between the OBC and later casts.

Wow...Dre, you're the first person to catch that! She wore leopard pants instead of the blue pants.

Kerrie, I don't like...remember seeing/recognizing Brian. I could have seen him passing, think oh he looked familiar, and moved on. I didn't even see Raul. Or Luke Perry! Now that would have been cool!

Annie, why do you feel so old?

My friend had her baby yesterday. So weird, apparently her water broke an hour and a half after I left her house Sunday night/Monday morning.

She developed through the labor so fast there was no time to give her the drugs, so words can't describe how much it hurt according to her. I can only imagine her screaming and cursing...hahaha.

But yeah, he's early, so the baby is 5 pounds. I held him, and fed him! Apparently I did a really good job, they were trying to get him to drink, but with me he drank half the bottle...and it was soo cute because first his little lips I could see sucking the bottle, then he opened his eyes which were dark dark blue(he has the Asian eyes and nose of his asshole father unforuntately) and they got an adorable picture of me feeding him. I burped him too, I was proud. He was making cute noises.

She checks out tomorrow and gives up the baby. I admire her so much.

Amanda, yeah. It was this afternoon I think that I read it. and it made absolutely no sense to me. haha. i guess I do have to see the person before I judge them on a cast recording. Although, have you heard the OBC of Les Mis? I'm sorry, but I really hate the voice of the girl who played Eponine.

Mary, the pic is weird cause the soap that she gives everyone looks like Tide.

When I heard that Legally Blonde: the musical was being made, I was skeptical. But listen to this: choreographer, set designer, costumer designer, light designer, and sound designer are the smae people that DRS! so, it wil be pretty cool!
