I PA'd the drama desks yesterday. It was a fantastic day/night! I posted some pics on the main board, and if anyone wants to read my long story, PM me.
Jonathan brought Rachel De Benedet as his date. It was cute. She was gorgeous.
I went to the Drama Desk awards 2 years ago when Hugh Jackman was nominated (and won!) It was great fun! More intimate than the Tonys. Glad you had a good time.
ryan, really want to see Angels and Demons if it is made. And I agreed with conforming his personality to fit Hanks. sad.
Oh, I just thought that I saw that Julia Roberts will be hosting the Tonys but no, she is just presenting. that scared me for a little.
Julia Roberts as Host...well, it would be interesting if it happened. I'd bet ten bucks she would get stage fright and run away.

Hi, all,
I just posted this on the main board, but I thought you DRS fans would like to know, too.
Rachel York's appearance at Seth's Broadway Chatterbox has just been made available on DVD. You can order it on the Chatterbox Website.
Sadly, something funky happened with the audio format for BWW, so her interview will not be available here at Broadway World Radio, I am told. (-:
WickedRentQ highly recommends it, too. Don't you?

Rachel York DVD
You saw that I did LC
That was when I made a very important contribution..."I have counted each man"
Harvey Fierstein should host everything.
He would rock, I'd agree. I think John Travolta and Billy Crystal should host, both in their Hairspray costumes. Take that, Scientology!

Anyone know what "Drowsy Chaperone's" running time is?
When I saw it, it was just shy of 2 hours.

Sweet, thanks!
ok, no Tony host?
not cool.
2nd day of props internship. tired, but fun stuff. we went shopping (!) for fabrics to make a quilt curtain for 'Rosencrantz and Gulidestern are dead.' so exciting!
Wait, no Tony host? Weiiiird.
Just got back from my Oklahoma auditions. I did pretty well on the speaking part (don't wanna sound snarky, but better than most), but my singing was mediocre. Gonna go back for tomorrow's auditions, and maybe sing "Here I Am".

In a statement the executive producers of the Tony telecast, Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, said, "The 60th Anniversary show is bigger than just one host. So we've put together a line-up of 60 stars from the stage to lead our celebration."
yes, but it won't include John. Ooh, I am still interested, so please could someone tape it and send it to me? I would be very grateful.
I would annie, but my parents got rid of cable and regular tv. So, I don't know if I can even watch the Tonys, never mind taping them.

no tv at all?? OMG, that sucks really.
and does someone have NBC because I will need a happy volunteer who would tape the 20 Good Years to me with John.

Is anyone watching the cam today? I just started watching a bit ago...
Sorry, but Greg's finger still looks disgusting.
Annie, is that the show in the fall?

I am. His finger kinda looks greenish blackish
Bleh.
I've been watching. When it first started Greg said there was something wrong with the camera and that's why it's all zoomed in.

Thanks, Traci.
I've missed a big chunk of it because I'm getting ready for a (late) interview. I took the day off. Just as boring of a job (even more so, actually), but more money, better benefits.
Being an adult sucks.
I'd rather sit around and watch the cam... go back to school, those sorts of things.

I hate being a kid. No one takes me seriously, including my family, it's soo annoying.
And I have a whole weeks worth of homework today. God I hate school so much.

yes starlette, it will begin in september in the US.
No problem Starletta.
And better pay is always a good thing, even if the job will be more boring.
I'm so glad that school is finally over for me. I have two exams tomorrow (Anatomy and math) and that's it.

I will cross my finger for you Traci. I have to work tomorrow, as on any weekdays...
