Oh.
I'm off to rehearsal, be back late.
LMAO. Look what I got in the mail today! He thought he didn't reply!
Cool Liz! What a sweetie!
awwww!!!! Liz, so jealous!! haha. love the pic. he looks so great. wondering what he is doing now.
Saw Oprah today. an old one but she was promoting the Color Purple musical, and of course, i thought of Andrew. I wished she listed all the producers since she is one of them, but sadly no.
glad you will be able to make it ryan. Really wish i could. I mean, $20 to see Norbert read in a town near mine and his....seems too wonderful to be true. yet, i can't make it. take lots of pics Ryan. and maybe finally get the pic for your site. haha.
Mary, there's already a Greghead party going on in Conn. I'm going w/ my family to Les Miz on the 25th as well. And it turns out I think Cat's one row ahead of me...like 5/6 seats to my left or something, right?
Ooh, twill be a fun day. I get to bust ass to Queens for my show after, possibly make Cat and her bro bust ass with me too so they don't have to take Conn. trains back, and then they'll come to my show. Yaay.
Malki, are you in Western or Eastern Long Island? My show is in Douglaston, it's like 15 minutes away from Port Washington. If you're not far, you should come! It's Guys and Dolls at a community theatre; I play clarinet.
Liz, what shall you be doing in our state that day?
Amanda, I'm going into the city with a couple of my friends to see Sweeney Todd. .
I live on Western LI, pretty close to the Queens/Nassau border. I would love to see your show. How long will it be playing?
Again, huh?
Sure doing so has nothing to do with what's in your avatar
Ooh, that's great Malki! It's two more weekends...Saturdays March 18 and 25 at 8:30PM and Sundays March 19 and 26 at 3:00 PM. It's in the Marathon Jewish Center in Douglaston. You'd go to the Douglaston Parkway, either from the LIE or Cross Island Parkway, and would want to turn onto Marathon Parkway...exact directions there would depend on how you're getting to Douglaston Pkwy. Anyway, from Marathon, you make a right on 60th St, which is the 2nd block I believe, and that's where the temple is. It's just a $15 donation for the temple to get in, $13 for kids/seniors. Guys and Dolls is funny and certainly not adultish, so if you think your kids would enjoy it, you could definitely bring them.
That's so cool that you finally got a response from Andrew. I love his headshot.
I was slacking and never ended up sending out my letter/SASE to him. I've still got it all ready to mail too, Just never made it to the post office. Now he's left, so I certantly can't still send it to the theatre. Ah well.
That's so cool that you finally got a response from Andrew. I love his headshot
Hehe.. that's the thing...I had already gotten one from him!
lol, you did? I just thought you accidentally typed "*He* thought he didn't reply!" instead of "*I* thought..."
HaHa, that's too funny.
I opened it up and was like "WHAT?!" lol. Because he had sent in in his own envelope. So cute.
Aw, that really is too cute. Gotta love Andrew.
Hello Greg!
Amanda, I think I passed it today!!! My kids go to school near there and I serve lunch. There was a truck blocking the street I usually go on and I went around the long way onto Marathon and Douglaston. Also, I think I just donated a ticket to your show through the Lion's Club. Every year they call about whatever show is being done and we donate a ticket or 2 to a senior citizen. I believe that the woman said it was Guys and Dolls. Of course there could be another group doing Guys and Dolls somewhere near here as well. I will let you know if we can make it. My big kids would love it. I saw it upstate at a summerstock theater that we go to.
Gah, all I'm seeing on the cam is that dreaded red X.
Same for me, Traci..
I see Greg the Judge...
Maybe AOL is backlagged though.
Greg the Judge is back.
Okay its good now.
Man, it's really having some trouble tonight. We believe in you, webcam! You can do it!
Oh okay, that's great Malki! Funny you call it my show and stuff--technically I'm a ringer, not actually part of the group...I live like an hour away lol. But that makes sense about the donation, they've told me the average age of all Sunday matinee attendees is 60 years old.
Yeah let me know or even if you can't, the pit is in the front left, I mean you can't miss the piano, and I pretty much get to sit and chill there for most of the intermission so you can just come over then. Depending on the day, I may have friends and/or family there, so we'll all talk and I'll feel popular lol.
Maybe it's contagious because I could not get online for the life of me. And I can't stay and watch because I am going to play mah jong. I hope it works and you all can see Greg. Say hi from me.
Well, earlier Greg was in a sea foam green mood, now it seams as though he's in more of a light yellow mood.
Hmm.. I'm guessing the cam just got to be too troublesome.
