It was great to see you on the cam! I can't wait to hear about the trip.

Hmmmm. I love Joel Grey but I'm partial to Alan Cumming but I do love Joel Singing Money. It's so cute. I'll still send you the revival though.

emailed greg the last two monk-emails from that site (the one where I took muriel and andre's dialogue on the balcony and put in two separate monk-emails) and this was his response: "Absolutely insane are you! Love em!"

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread, Part 4! *Witty Title Forthcoming*

Mary, if you do send Greg our posts about the musical, be sure to let us know his response!

OY. I really didn't mean to...but I spent almost my entire "day" (time being off not sure I could call it day...) working on my broadway journal/diary. I recently finished up the OT board, which was harder b/c I had to write down dates from the Greg threads and guess pages. So I searched all the main board posts I wrote...and you know when you search you can see like the first 2 sentences?

So I was copying those posts for the journal, and also of course getting into some of my older posts. I mean, I was having fun, but just recently finished. Right now, the document on Microsoft word is 122 pages...with a size 10 font.

Traci...look what you started!

So now I need to go through sent PMs to find those little stories about things I didn't feel comfortable publicly posting...then I need to edit the whole thing to change typos and stuff, then try to add things I never posted about (like my first Broadway hug for instance).

I guess it's tedious, but...it'll be such a treasure to have when it's done!

Anyway, so some interesting things I came across in my old posts:

~My first official long post was about Idina's last show of Wicked...I said sorry this is kinda long, but really I don't think it's very long compared to most of my posts...

~I knew I always liked DRS a lot, and that my love of it increased as I got to know Greg, and softball, and some other cast members. But I underestimated my original love for it. I was really excited to go back the third time, and even back in those days, like yaayed if it went up in grosses and such. Well, I guess it's like Little Women: "Some Things Are Meant To Be."

Ooh, and something fun I want to copy to show you guys what I wrote back then...enjoy the suspense...heh, like any of you are still awake...

(Ooh Dre, I have the Showtunes channel on and Jerry Hadley's What I Did For Love just came on! He's really good...so is Adam...tee hee).

re: The Official Greg Jbara Love Thread, Part 4! *Witty Title Forthcoming*

Okay, I know I've told this story..most likely a few times, but I think it's really amusing to see my exact words that night. So Greg threaders...I give you..my post the night/morning after my very first encounter with Mr. Jbara:

"...First off, Greg Jbara is an absolute doll! I noticed as soon as I entered the lobby he was talking to everyone, whether they said anything or were shy and said nothing. He would comment to people on their shirts, ask them about colleges, I kept trying to think of something to say, but I couldn't think...so I got there and he smiled at me and said hi and asked me how I was and I was like good, how are you(stupid, really couldn't think of much to say), and he was like good and asked me how long I had been in line, I said around 11:40ish and he was like wow really? Well thanks a lot for waiting, you must really like us, ha. Found another way to tell Norbie he has to win the tony(figured he wouldn't remember me from another time, he called me sweetie again). Then Sherie was talking to someone so David Yazbeck took my CD and signed it then Sherie signed it then David signed it again, I laughed. Sherie told me I was lucky, now it's more valuable with two of his autographs. Everyone was really nice, fun times."

Took out the bit about me being mad when John and Joanna got up...

Wow..I mean I still feel that way, but I don't think I've referred to Greg as an "absolute doll" since this post...

Heh...I must really like them...perhaps an understatement now...

The ensemble was giving out the CDs. Gah, I wish I could remember who gave me mine, and I wish I would have talked to them...and..bleh.

And these were the days of my shyness...I told Norbert "it would be a travesty if you didn't win the Tony this year." I rehearsed that. In those days, the only way I could get coherent sentences out to actors was if I rehearsed it. Oy. (The first time I saw the show I pretty much told him the same thing at the stage door, that's what I meant by he doesn't remember me).

I dunno, I totally cracked up when I saw this post. Okay, goodnight. But ulgh, I'm still not tired! Hmm, I'll eat some soup. That'll help knock me out.
