So I noticed something odd yesterday as I watched the season one finale. Michael Koors was wearing sunglasses at the runway show. Now - how in the world can he effectively judge a competition if he can't see the actual colors of the fabric and materials used?

Season 2 was the best! I miss Santino, Andre ("what happened to Andre?"), Nick and my sweet Daniel. How can Season 3 possibly measure up?
I'll be there, though!

I am so psyched! I re-watched Season 2 today (I have no life, what can I say?) and it only makes me more excited for the new season! Though I must say, I'm even more excited for this season of Runway to be over so that Top Chef will be on again. I liked that three times more than Project Runway.

Interesting episode. I hope this season turns out to be as good as last. I loved the challenge and I totally agree with who won/who was sent home.

Damn you West Coasters! I wanna talk about Runway!
P.S. DramaDork, I agree with you.
*sighs* See you in the morning. Auf Wiederheisen.
Season 2 still kicks ass (so far).

I really love the fur coat lady. Definitely into her whole glamorous/vintage style.
I really liked the dress that won, too.

I don't know who scares me more: Malan, who reminds me of a serial killer, or Vincent, who is just plain nuts.
LOVE the red headed woman, though...she's just so classy and confident.

This is going to be a fascinating season again. I really liked Laura, the fur coat lady, too. "I never dress down. When you're 42 and have five kids, it's a slippery slope to sweatsuits and a minivan. So I just don't go there."
I have kind of the reverse philosophy, in that I rarely dress UP, but we agree on the sweatsuits and minivan...
Oh, and may I respectfully make a suggestion that will work for all time zones? I found it very frustrating to not discuss the show last night before I went to sleep, while my reactions were still fresh. I think it makes sense to put "spoilers" in the thread title and it will be up to people in later time zones to practice restraint and not read the thread until they've seen the show. Ultimately, it will make for a more readable thread.
Any thoughts?

iflit - I think that's fair! Anyone else want to weigh in? Now that it's the next day, we can talk, so...
SPOILERS!
Loved the blue bedsheet dress and the little red and white number. The fur coat was divine. Vincent is a little crazy but oh so likeable. And the coffee filter dress was very clever. Who is the conceited "I design for rock stars" guy? He's ridiculous. He will stick around for ratings though. I am not surprised at who went home.
END SPOILERS.
ETA: spelling corrections.

The MBA chick (Stacy?) sucked, yeah, but how the hell did they not kick Vincent off? The basket hat with the chains? The dress was godawful, too. What were those "stars" on the pockets...puffy stickers?
I liked the blue dress that won, but I loved the coat. My favorite, though, was that white dress with the red sash and jeweled collar/back (designed by Robert, I think...the one who designed for Mattel). I thought it was gorgeous.

I agree with the red sash dress. I knew it would be down to those two.
I think Malan is scary as HELL. He looks like a rodent or something, and looks even scarier when he smiles or laughs.

I just wanted to say that I was outraged that the white/red dress did not win! The blue dress was beautiful but not as fresh, I mean, I wasn't drooling over it. I'm tempted to go to the studio and kidnap somebody until they make me that white/red dress. Sooo dreamy.

I loved the coffee-filter dress. It was my favorite. And I thought that keith, the one who won the challenge...his dress was not nearly as good at Rober,t, the second-place guy.
malan, i am convinced, is a vampire. A very cute vampire, but a vampire nonetheless.

The coat should've won. They were supposed to express who they are, and she did that best. She also used more diverse materials, imo.
The two dresses looked well made, but boring, and didnt incorporate as many different found materials.
Tattoo neck must go...I wont be able to handle him for long...he doesnt have Santino's wit to get away with being such a tool.
