Yeah, beacs. I suffer from insomnia, apparently. I was up until about three, just... there. I just have no desire to sleep anymore, unless it's when my alarm goes off and I have to get up.

I just spent the entire ride to work listening to Raúl. After a bumpy time last night and this morning, it's amazing to me just what abilities his voice has to calm nerves. It's silly, actually; but so... relaxing.

I just got The Normal Heart from the public library! So far I've only read the production notes or whatever, but in honor of this occasion:

My heart just skipped a beat at that first photo.

He once talked about how often people told him he looked like Jonathan, I think; and accounts from people who saw TTB live talk about how well he was able to tap into and emulate Jonathan's mannerisms.

He never met Jonathan. That always really creeps me out.

The first photo is definitely heartbeat skipping worthy.

That is kind of creepy. There's something about his cheeks and his smile in that pic, and the way his head is tilted, and his hair (that single curl on his forehead!)and...yeah, he looks like Jonathan. Not that I've ever seen Jonathan in person or anything.

Ah yes, cupcake Raul. The picture that first made me realize I was in love with him. Oh, the memories...
