I don't think I want to add it up. Just today I bought another ticket. What is wrong with me?
I like to tell myself it's for a good cause.

Raul's ego.
*lays head pathetically on desk*
i meant that Em said she was shocked at how people weren't that competitive over grades, and i meant that people here are crazy competitive. i probably should have mentioned that Dean's List is the top...10? 15%? of students...but isn't that pretty much standard for schools? i have no idea...I was just showing how competitive it is that the top 15% of the Nursing school all have 4.0s...does that make sense? otherwise, just throw something at me.

I wish I could see Chitty. Or any show on broadway. One bway show and five tours over the past two years. Great record, eh?
Yet if you had the opportunity to see Chitty, you know you wouldn't. The whole "mindless" thing.
I'd suspect if even one person stands up for him, it'll help the ego. I do my part, damn it!

That's not so bad, Nia! Which show did you see on Broadway?
I've seen... one tour! But it was DAMN exciting!
mmm...Chitty...I have to go home for an eye doctor's appt. (My doctor's name is Dr. Doctor.) I think I might have to do a two-Chitty day that Saturday.
Ang - you'll love this...I'm gonna try to convice my boy to come! haha...well he DOES like Raúl!

No, I have a better record!
Three national tours and NO Broadway shows!
*headdesk* Oh, New York...I need to see you!

You certainly do!
I think maybe I will watch my Chitty "movie" tonight. I need a fix.

Yikes, Gav!
The bway show was RENT, as were three of the tours. My options are limited.
Chitty REALLY in all honesty, is not up my alley. But if I had the time and the money, I'm sure I'd see it. If someone told me I could see anything I wanted, though, it'd probably be Sweeney. I really want to see it and hear the music, but I can't afford the CD either.
CHITTY "MOVIE"!!!! i wish i had it.
I wiiiiiiish you guys could all come visit.
Munk's comments on Sweeney make it promising. He's picky.
You won't be broke forever. You got the Rent CD. And Cuban men of ambiguous sexuality are up your alley, which is fine enough excuse.

You wish ALL of us could come? *snort*
There's always grad school. I don't really want to spend four more years in school after I graduate college, but if that's what it takes.... well, I've suffered this far. Maybe it gets better.

Me, too, kooks!
Rent was the tour I saw, too. And it was definitely more expensive than if I had seen it on Broadway (provided we don't include travelling costs of NY, and we DO of the tour... so, yeah...)! But like I said, so incredibly worth it!
For me it's not a question of being able to afford the CDs, it's just that they much more expensive than they could be, since they're all "imported" or whatever. Civilian cost me almost $30!
Would you rather I say that I wish the people who were talking to me would come? Or maybe I should specify on which days of the year I'm on good terms with whom. *snort back*
My initial answer was yes, but you really know how to draw conclusions and push it.
*rips hair out*
I went to some pre-college thing once where they talked about how because the rate of college attendance is so high, people sort of EXPECT that you'll go to grad school if you want to be of any use in life. It makes sense, but it's weird. What happens when everybody starts going to grad school as if it were high school?

Yeah, it's pretty bad. I've seen RENT, Les Miz, and Wicked on tour. But they were all pretty good!
And quote of the day....
"ilovescots3 (5:01:29 PM): esparzararzalarza
ilovescots3 (5:01:32 PM): im calling him that from now on"
That's obscene, Allie -- but it was worth it, yeah?

I certainly wish that a certain Cuban man of ambiguous sexuality still did Sunday evening shows. He totally mixed up my plans for later this month. Grr!

GREAT. More pointless classes. I'm starting to feel like one of those stupid hippies I despise. I just don't think I need all this.
Em, I thought you hated liars...
And I'm done ranting. It'll get better. It has to. *sings* There's a light... over at the Frankenstein place...
Allie, ouch. Have you tried Overstock.com?

Yup, worth it!! And when they told me they'd hold a copy of the Rent soundtrack, they said it was going to be $37.99. I almost choked! But it was $27. And I had almost 10 bucks left on my gift card!
For that reason, I'm a little scared to have Taboo and/or Rocky Horror ordered in. SO much money!
I do. But it wasn't a lie. Like I said, you're excellent at drawing conclusions. But, since you won't hear a word of anything, you would't know that you WERE drawing an inaccurate conclusion.
Look, a knot in my stomach.
*kicks wall*
For what you want to do, though, all of that formal education may not be necessary. You can either write or you can't, after a certain point of schooling.

Allie, that's crazy! But everything else is cheaper in Canada, so maybe it balances out.
Emcee, there's no way I could just be a writer. I'll work in publishing or something. Even if I did make it to the shelves of Barnes and Noble, it's highly unlikely that I could make enough money to support myself, especially in New York.
