I think it's okay to ask for a picture... there's nothing really insincere about that, IMO.

I feel silly asking Anthony for pictures, but that's another story. I feel like I'm not supposed to, or something. But he knows that deep down I'm stil a tad squealy inside.

Had a Chitty moment after work today. Got in the car and the DJ was talking about pedophile's (sp) on the beach. Tuned in mid-sentence, so not sure exactly.

DJ1: blah, blah beach pedophile
DJ2: responded in some way or another. I was only half listening
DJ1: Chilllll-dren. Oh, chilllll-dren.
DJ2: Silence (I'm assuming he was giving DJ1 a blank stare)
DJ1: Chilllll-dren. Oh, chilllll-dren.
DJ2: Still silent
DJ1: C'mon. The Childcatcher. From Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
DJ2: Thanks for explaining. I didn't know what you were doing.
DJ1: The movie with DVD. Starts explaining the whole flying, floating car that was all a dream. Then he starts playing the title song.

Even though it's my favorite movie, I was hearing Raul in my mind.

Going tomorrow with the tickets I won at the flea market.

Ha ha! Most of the Raul ones are old, I just never uploaded them. I finally figured out how to make them smaller so I went ahead and put them all up! I love the picture of me, my best friend, and Marc. My nephew took it, and he captured that look an Marc's face that is absolutely priceless!

Actually, I've hugged Raul before. It was right after The Normal Heart and I just wanted to hold him. I actually, kissed him on the cheek as well. I will never forget what his beard felt like against my cheek. I had never really liked facial hair until I felt how soft his was. He was so sweet to me. It didn't feel awkward, it was just my way of thanking him. I'll probably never do it again, but I will also never forget it either.

The fact that he was wearing his WDW shirt in one of those pictures was fabulous! I had actually been DYING to see him wear one. I'd met him tons of times and never seen one. Plus, my family had just gotten back from Disney World, and I wanted to know what his favorite ride was! So when I saw the shirt, it was perfect. It totally reminded me to ask!

Oh, and Bdwaygirl, have fun at Chitty!

Gotta love a man who can flaunt his love for Disney.

I want to hug him. But... I have no legit "reason" to. I mean, Adam hugged me once, but it was because my friend was like "Adam, could she have a hug?" I was sad that he was leaving New York and that I wouldn't get to see him perform for a long time, so it was a nice way to bid goodbye.

Hey, quick observation. Beginning November 5th, Sweeney Todd is gonna have the same schedule as Chitty! What's up with that?! Three days of double performances. Is this a new trend? I hope Raul has a chance to see the show before then. Hell, he will probably be there opening night if he doesn't have a Chitty performance.

I guess you can always wait it out. I'm sure you will have a reason to hug him one day (or vice versa). And it won't planned, it will just happen.

I survived one exam and both papers, I have yet to take the second exam. I e-mailed my professor and asked if I could take it on another day, because I am yet again miserably ill. I decided to just take today off to rest up and have no obligations at all -- plus, I'd have done very poorly on it if I had taken it.

What a... versatile shirt!

Thanks! I was really sick last night -- I think it was stress-induced. I'm feeling a bit better today, and tomorrow will be mostly restful, as well.
