I worry. Do you know how long he has been doing it for?

I've noticed after "Me Ol' Bamboo" he is VERY out of breath and it takes him a lot longer than it should to catch it.

Poor lungs. :/

When I watched him sing Hair, afterwards, he was literally panting for like two minutes. Not cool! His chest was heaving, and I thought he was going to break.

i think it's very strange that he smokes...after all our discussion about his passion and his dedication to his career...to do something that impacts your health but also impacts your ability to do your JOB? Not cool, Raúl. It just seems like he's not that kind of guy to do that. I don't know. It's wierd...sexy, but wierd.

Well, I don't know either...I mean, a lot of actors/actresses I know smoke. But, they manage to keep their voices clear! I don't know how they do it.

Thank god my friend David doesn't smoke. He'd be sort of...ruined. His voice wouldn't sound the same!

And maybe he simply can't quit right now. I know a lot of people get really anxious and sweaty and angry when they try to quit. That could hurt his performances. Maybe he will try when he has a lot of time off.

People try and try and try, and just have incredible difficulty doing it. They wish they could, but they say for many reasons, they just... can't.
