Lucky puppy.

I'm not so sure it thinks it's lucky! It sort of looks like it's saying "Oh, god. Save me from these humans that keep smothering me." *so cute* I swear, if I had been there, I would have adopted that puppy right there and then. And THAT is why I can't go to Broadway Barks.

Why couldn't Raúl be the one wearing the "adopt me" vest.

I can't go either. For the same reason.

I wanted a puppy! But I'd get kicked out of school.

I DO NOT have illegal turtles. I swear. Well, the CDE (who lives next to us...ugh) has cats. Several! So, they can't say anything. Anyway, we rescued them from certain death on Canal Street and have taken good care of them (and kept it clean because they can carries diseases), but they're sooo cute.

aww! i miss my puppy at home. a complex fellow i think the only thing we're allowed to have are fish...boooring. plus i had one...and right after i named it it died. i've always wanted to raise a seeing eye dog, though. i think that would be cool (though i would probably secretly hope it failed so that i could keep it! haha. i'm so selfish.)

Ang, your post is hysterical. And as non pc as it is, I can only assume what you meant by a certain death! LMAO! Turtles are so cute.

Back in Georgia, most of the roads I drive on are hicksville two lane roads that people speed down. Twice this past summer, I was driving alone and there was a turtle out in the middle of the road. Well, people sometimes have sick humor and like to run over things just becuase. So I stopped my car, walk out into the middle of the road, and put the turtle back on the grass on the side of the road. Then generously applied the anti-bacterial hand gel when I got back in the car!

I haven't had a pet in so long. Aw. I really want a kitten. And I do mean a real kitten! Although, I wouldn't mind having a Raúl either.

I've been thinking of getting a fish, but I like pets that I can actually, well, pet. Fish... not so much. My sister had a fish, but it died. And she didn't notice for awhile, and it got fuzzy with mould. She was so distraught that she killed her pet fish, that she refused to ever get a new one.

Yeah, you definitely can't pet a fish.

I have ALWAYS wanted a dog. But my parents never ever let me have one. a complex fellow I'm always envious when people have their dogs in their dressing room and then walk out the theatre with them at the end of the night. I.E. Michael Cerveris. The SECOND I graduate college and get my own place, I'm gonna go to the ASPCA and adopt a dog.

I got to play with a little springer spaniel puppy over Thanksgiving. And I swear, my grandfather was thisclose to smuggling him home. TOO cute.

Aw, Chrys, you should. Just remember that puppies are a lot of work! Mine chewed a hole through the wall, because she didn't like to be closed up in the laundry room while we were away.

I've always wanted one... I have some allergies, and my dad's DEATHLY allergic. Apparently my brother is torturing my parents about it again, and they're thinking about getting one, but I doubt it'll ever happen. Aside from the health thing, my parents are both neat freaks... which don't really go with animal people.

LOL! Puppies are a pain! But totally worth it. I actually want to start out with an older dog. I've even thought about adopting a retired greyhound. They are big, but once they have been raced all their lives, are supposed to be quite mellow.

I actually did have a god dog. She was my best friends boston terrier and I always puppy sat her when they would go on long vacations. She was precious, but so spoiled! We were buddies, but she got ran over. a complex fellow I was *very* upset.

My mom is the same way, Em. She thinks animals of any kind are "dirty". So I haven't grown up with them.

I miss my puppy. She died while I was away at college last year and they didn't tell me until Christmas break because they knew how hard it would be for me. She was old and sick, but it was hard. I cried for days on end.

My parents promised to buy me a puppy when I get my own place (hopefully in two years). So I'm looking forward to that.

My sister is allergic to her cat, but she will NOT even entertain the thought of giving her away. It wouldn't be so bad if the cat didn't insist on, like, sleeping on my sister's pillow with her!

Animals can be kind of dirty, but the cuteness overrides that. And some breeds of dog are just cleaner than others, I think. My cousin and his girlfriend have this huge Bermese Mountain dog named Bower (so cute), and he is THE cleanest, shinest dog I've ever seen and petted.

Have them go to the ASPCA. Or they could always get one for you from Broadway Barks! That way you would be saving another animal from certain death.

I think it's even cuter than Raul.

I'm not really sure how B'way Barks works.

Hi puppy!

I'm not sure, either. I think they present the animals after they've been on display around the alley for a bit, and then you can go and find the ones you're interested in throughout the day.

Anyway, time for me to get to bed. I have to get to services for the holiday REALLY early tomorrow. Have a good night, you guys.
