Haha no. The other night was really awkward and amusing. He was smacking his gum and he just kind of looked at me and then at his wife. And then I turned around. I'm not even sure if he recognized me because my hair was up (which it NEVER is). But yeah, it was odd. But the whole image was odd.

How on earth would you explain that? The boysenberry jam thing makes sense but:
"Someone I know from online saw you and your wife walking down the street and said you were chomping on your gum like a mad fiend, so I thought I'd buy you some more gum"
doesn't make as good a story. And would probably scare him. We wouldn't get the happy smiling pictures like you.
