I spent my last spring break going home to my parents' house to celebrate my dad and my birthdays, have dental work done and renew my driver's license. Woohoo. This year, I need to do SOMETHING.

Cincinatti is only a couple hours from here... Oooooh Yay. a complex fellow

Spring break, I'm going to Russia.

On the bright side, I'm seeing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on November 26th... at LAST.

yay, Lari!

My dad has a bunch of frequent flyer miles. Maybe he'll let me use them and I can go. I've never seen the midwest!

He's going to be like "why are you all following me?"

Both!

I asked my mom how she felt about Cincinatti for a weekend, after finding out how long her frequent flyer miles were good for. She says she'll think about it. That'd be a nice birthday present. a complex fellow

I just really, really want to see him do something with depth again.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out if it would be a good thing if he knew I was following him. Flattering, but at the same time, it's one thing when someone follows you from show to show around NYC. It's another thing when they follow you across statelines!

I found out that trains from DC to Cincinatti are only $55! Sweet! Then I have more money to see it multiple times!

I need to think of a 'valid' reason to go to Ohio...*thinks really hard*

Em, I kind-of-accidentally-might-have made my family think you are a cannibal. :-P I was telling them about meeting Raul, and how he smelled like smoke. Then I said that you said he smelled good. My mom asked how you knew what he smelled like and I said 'Well, once she tasted-I mean, smelled! him, and she said he smelled good.'

Oops. a complex fellow

The word "smelled" looks really wierd.

Welcome back from ny Elphie. a complex fellow

I wonder if my parents would let me go to this in exchange for not going to Israel for 3 months...a normal person would tell me I have crazy priorities.

Can't wait to hear about it!

No, in the end, I didn't go. a complex fellow My mom kept saying, why do you want to see THAT again, wasn't he in it the first time you saw it? Don't go yourself. It's not worth it. Although she didn't convince me, of course, I wasn't in the mood to really fight it. I was sad but am very glad that you guys got to see Rent so it's all good. So I ended up staying home, but I got a lot of work done, which will free me up to do more stuff later on, so in a way it turned out well. I'm still DETERMINED to see it again before it closes.

I'm back! a complex fellow

I'm really worried, because I don't know where my books to do my homework are. :-0 I took them out of my bag at the airport before I left, and now I don't know where they are. I REALLY hope they are in my dad's car, but he's not home! *bites fingernails*

I did! Well, actually, I did about half of it on the bus. I did my Psych homework on the plane, and I was *SO* tired. My hand-writing was all shaky and slanted. It's wierd. Then I fell asleep and I almost couldn't wake up! I fell asleep on the car ride home, too. My poor dad, he must have felt so neglected!

Oh, I have NO money to do this. But, my birthday is in a few weeks and then there's Christmas so I'll ask for money. I'd rather go to Ohio and have a great memory than more clothes or something. College students, at least me, have no money to do frivolous things unless they really budget and plan. I am a very good planner. No take-out or such unnecessary shopping until I have enough saved. I will be there (I really hope) because there's too much I like about this production to miss.

Less presents to buy, as I realize that I've kept in touch with about two people from high school, and that I'm losing touch even with the friends I made last year in college. Not that I'm happy about this. Just a realization.
