Since we're talking about food...
My grandma brought leftovers from her lunch outing with my cousin, Pat from this restaurant called The Patina Group or something. She had fish and chips...and she let me have the leftovers. It's delicious!

Posted: 12/2/05 at 7:18pmMe too. But I never have sufficient (or any) lunch at school, so I end up buying chocolate from myself. Then I'm hungry in another hour. It's not fun.

Posted: 12/2/05 at 7:19pmI think Thanksgiving stretched my stomach. Before, I was perfectly fine picking a food and not really eating a full meal, just nibbling on stuff when I got hungry. Now, my stomach is growling constantly. I'm getting so much food at meals, it's not even funny.

I'm constantly hungry too. There's a lot of food at school, so I usually bring about five or seven dollars to buy a bunch of stuff. They're selling cupcakes now, and they are gooood. I have to buy them everyday, or else I will die.
Oh, and my school also sells slushies.
I had one today with my lunch.

I just had a cah-cah performance, and It's so frustrating. I HATE looking out in the audience and seeing people with blank faces. Wishing they were somewhere else. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to be in a show where the audience is like that for two and a half hours. It's even more frustrating when JUST the day before, I had an awesome performance.
I guess it's true what they say about this business. When you are high, they are so very high. And when they are low, it's a big time low.
Poor Raul. I never got it before. It's so thrilling when the audience is so excited about something, it makes you even more excited. But, when the audience isn't feelin' it, it can really weigh you down, even though it shouldn't. No wonder he's ready to get out of Chitty.

I'm sorry.
It makes me feel bad for the performers who come to my school for assemblies. Most people really don't care. It must be hard.

Tis life, I suppose! I will chuck tonights performance in the forget-about-it jar, and start working on the next one.
ETA: And it is comforting to know even the best performers screw up some times.

Definitely! No one's perfect. Not even Raul.
Even though he does come pretty darn close.

Posted: 12/2/05 at 7:53pmHe's a machine. The work he puts into his shows is incredible. His hard work is astounding. I wonder if he's already started becoming a concert pianist in prep for Company.

I guess if they're going to have him play something he already knows how to play, they'd go with guitar rather than piano; he can't really move around much while he plays the latter.
I sort of envision him behind a piano on wheels, flittering about and pushing it around the stage while he plays.

That's supposedly what he's gonna play. And he did play some in ttB, so it's probably not a very difficult thing for him. He's a good sight reader too. Makes me sick!
Oh, I envy the person who gets to give him piano lessons!
