i am DYING to go to cincinnati. i'm trying to convince my friends to roadtrip out there with me (since it takes FOREVER by train...who wants to do that alone! although me and my friends in a sleeper car spells TROUBLE. haha)...i think it would just be an adventure...plus i would KILL myself if i didn't and then it didn't come to B'way.
But i kind of feel like it will...i mean, would Raúl really attatch himself to a project that would last only a month...in Cincinnati? it makes me wonder. :)

I'm gonna have to say he would. Just for the experience. But, I honestly have no idea.
And two, isn't it possible that this production will end up in London before it ends up on Broadway. I don't know if Raul would actually go to London. I kind of doubt it. But still, it is always possible.
Noooooo! Raul can't go to London! *cry* NYC is already far enough away.
Question: What would you "rate" TTB? PG-13? PG? R? One of my birthday presents is that I get to go to two shows that come to my area this year, which I'm super excited about! So, I want to see Cabaret and TTB, but here's the catch: My whole family has to be able to see one of the shows. Obviously, that one would not be Cabaret, so I'm hoping that it can be TTB. I know there are some F-words, but what else is there? Does anything 'happen' during "Green Green Dress" or any other part? Thanks.
Oh! And my sister got me a RENT movie poster for my birthday! It's a mini-version, but I'm still excited. And I'm getting a digital camer. Finally.

Aww. The picture... I don't know. Should I post it, Em?
Seeing Chitty so close with Em was a blast. Raul is too much. I felt REALLY bad calling for him before the show but I don't think he saw me because of my umbrella. He was super late, though. But I think he did wave at us from the car. And give us a smile. So maybe he doesn't think I'm a crazy stalker after all?
Well, he loves Sondheim's stuff. So, if it's for a month, then it's a month more than not doing it at all.
POST IT, g. Post it!!
TTB is fine, Elphie. The NYC staging for Green, Green Dress was like... very flirty and sexy, but they just sort of flirtaciously chased each other around. There was a little salsa dance at the end, too. It's sweet, but not raunchy. I think it's fine for your family.
Thanks! That's good to hear. I'm so excited!
POST IT! Post it! etc...
i am agreeing in posting this picture!!! we want to seeeeeeee it!! :) haha.
ugh. i have a paper due tomorrow. on social drama...ugh.

Social drama? I don't even know what that means!
me neither! which is making this paper so much fun! i think it has somehting to do with society/environment impacting a tragic character instead of just human relationships...that the playwright has a social commentary along with the plot...something like that.
gahhh. i don't want to do this. maybe i'll take a break, order food...and watch me some CHITTY!!!!

Wow. Good luck with that! I am so sorry that's your topic! I wish you the best of luck.
I'm not sure I follow you one hundred percent, but wouldn't The Normal Heart be a prime example of that? Ned is greatly impacted by his friends dying around him and the government refusing to acknowledge the problem.
probably...but i have to use specific plays that we studied in class...which are pretty easy...A Doll's House, All My Sons, Raisin in the Sun and Streetcar.

Not a clue! And out of the plays you listed, I've only ever read Streetcar. I need to start reading more plays...
Wish I could be of some help. Sorry!

Well, I made this really cool Raúl thread thing on paint, and both Imageshack and Photobucket are being asses and resizing it.
I cannot post it, and would love it if I could share it with you all. If you can, pleeeease PM your e-mail address so I can send it to you. If you're quick, I can give you it in the next few minutes.

I think I'd rather not post it on BWW where everyone can see. So, if you REALLY want to see it then PM me and I'll PM it to you. :)

Isn't it fantastic?
I just feel weird posting it on here where anyone can see it. I don't know why.
