We totally lose. BUT he did smile at us from the car. So we win at the same time.

I just got back from Gypsy of the Year. My friend was late to class so we just pretty much ran miles and miles. And I'm wearing heels. Ack.

But I did extend my trip until tomorrow night. Everyone hope my flight gets snowed out and I get stuck in the city. :)

So apparently you can eat in the Hilton, as long as it's not outside food.

hee. He did smile at us! a complex fellow

How was Gypsy of the Year?

Really? Well, she was still totally rude about it. haha.

It was really good. Chitty's skit got pretty much the best reaction. It would be so cute if they won.

And you would not believe how many performances involved Sweeney.

Well, usually they're like "meh, whatever." I've walked into that theatre munching something or other a million times.

What did the kids do? Who won?

They are doing the show again tomorrow and will announce the winner then.

The kids sang a cute version of "So long, farewell". It was basically making fun of the fact that the show is closing. Some of the lines were...

"I'm nine years old. Now I'm on unemployment."
"Oh wait, there's hope! An open call for Annie. Oh nevermind, it's non equity."

It was really cute. Ellen was in it, too.

Oh, and the cast of Sweeney Todd sang a version of "You Could Drive A Person Crazy" from Company. The entire thing was making fun of how hard it is to act and play instruments on stage.

"Well, usually they're like 'meh, whatever.' I've walked into that theatre munching something or other a million times."

Dude, I walked in scarfing down my sandwich! The usher looked straight at me, asked for my ticket and started to lead us to our seats and never said a thing. That other usher was standing there the entire time we were talking and never said anything about the pretzels. It definitely is just that girl that has the issue. And you didn't see the disgusted look she gave me when she handed me my scarf; she looked like she wanted to drop it instead of handing it directly to me. Of course, then the guy at the desk got on her case about why she was answering the walkie-talkie when the other person was supposed to have it, so apparently, she's not the be-all and end-all of Chitty ushers.

g, the skit sounds really cute. Definitely keep us updated on the winner!

She's not. But she likes to act like she is. She's doing anything and everything she can to get me to stop coming or to keep me from Raul.

Because, you know, I'm trying to land a 35 year old married man by complimenting his work. Shesh.

I AM SO HUNGRY!

I was being sarcastic, I KNOW she's not the best, but seeing a superior bring her down to size definitely made up for her pretzel-nazi spaz.

I had a burrito for dinner. Yay for dining hall cuisine.

I can't eat until nine. Ah. Gretch is in class until then. But we are going to Ollies when she gets back.

I've only had a doughnut all day. Healthy, yes?

I took cliche pictures around the city today. It was great fun. But everywhere I looked I saw a Chitty kid. They are everywhere!

I think you are both right.

I tried to take some pictures at Gypsy but I failed. And Gretchen's computer scares me. I tried to upload all of my pictures and it took a lot of them off of my card. Including my awesome picture with Mr. E. I had a mini panic attack.

I do! It took a while but I finally figured out how to put the picture back onto my card.

And I have about eight copies printed out anyway. Of all different sizes.

No, I'm not a freak.

Heh, yeah. Definitely. And his screech during Truly Scrumptious keeps getting more girly every time I see it.
