I'm too chatty with people. I swear, the brief conversation I had with Raúl was going a mile a minute between the two of us. I don't know how everyone else followed it.

That's sweet, skittles!
Whenever I talk to him I always feel bad for taking up his time. So I try to make it short and sweet and I usually like to have a reason for the conversation. haha. He always makes me feel so comfortable, though. And I love it when he asks me questions and keeps the conversation going. That way I don't feel like he's waiting for it to be over.
He does talk fast, though. It's fun to listen to.

My school life is taking a kind of surreal turn. I just wrote an essay about bubbles for college, and tomorrow we are going to be mating fruit flies.

Yes. We have to "immobilize and sex" them. I have somewhat of a moral quandary about this.
The essay about bubbles was about breaking a world record (which was the prompt).

They were all crawling in the little containers, and the larvae were...okay, I'll stop. It's quite gross.
I thought for the longest time that what we were going to be doing was like rape, and I felt really bad, but today I found out we just immobilize them by freezing them, then put them in a vial and let them mate. So yeah, it'll be SUPER fun.
Bugs are yucky.

Wow! You ladies have been BUSY! I had to do some catching up.
I always feel Raul is rushing things becuase he talks so damn fast. When I am talking to him, I tend to try to slow the conversation down. Oh, it's been ages! He is so sweet.
And I LOVE that picture where he's standing on the stairs and they are applying his make up. You can see his hair....
