Ok, my lit TA needs to step off. She just wrote the class the rudest e-mail about how we all don't know how to properly format ("something we should have learned before entering high school"). And when I asked her a question, she just gave me a look and told me to read the book. Ugh, I hate people like that. NYU...grr....
I hate people like that.
Kick her.
I hate that too. My professor took off 8 points on my 50 point essay (which I got a perfect on, based on content) because he didn't like that I had separated the various parts of the assignments onto separate pages.
And the one day I was able to make his office hours to discuss it with him, he didn't show up.

How so, Ang? Is it the hair? It's real, I swear!
Is it the hair? IS IT THE HAIR? Well, actually...yes, it's the hair.

I was reading on the other post how you mentioned Raúl phoning in a performance. I've seen him do that, as well. But he looked more sad than bored. Which made me sad.
But, honestly, how can I blame him? I think if I had to perform that show for months on end I would poke my eye out.

Are you sure you weren't the one who was bored? I've seen it five times, and the last couple of times, I wanted to pull my hair out and I adore Raul. I can't imagine seeing it close to ten times. Five was plenty. I'm not a children lover, and frankly the saddest part of the show for me was when Kevin gets blown up.

Well, this performance that I'm talking about was back in August. It was only my second time seeing it.
Lately he's been unbelievably goofy and random. So it's been very enjoyable!

And Ang! It really is real! That picture is from 1993. Just before Tommy. You can tell it's thinning there, but it didn't start receeding until they went into reahearsals. Then he ended up shaving completely just before he moved to Germany. He said being bald in German seemed completely logical at the time. And just so you know, back in the eighties, he had a full head of hair. It's really unrecognizable back in his Romeo days. He was seeeeeexy. Well, he still is.
...And now I've gone off on a tangent on the history of Michael's hair. And lack there of.
OH MY GOD, that's MICHAEL?!?!
And... I don't know. I think Raul's performance went downhill some, but it's come back up.
Heh, goofy Raúl makes it so much better. Last Sunday was so great.

Yes, that is Michael. And I love that picture! And I especially love the jeans he's wearing!
And yes, Raul is wonderful when he's goofy! And, alright. Everyone is entitled to lazy days. Honestly, I've seen him perform quite a bit, and I've never seen him give less than he was capable of. I guess I'm simply fortunate.

Hi from the land of The Normal Heart. I started last night and I would have finished today, but this morning my mom came into my room and interupted. It feels like a companion guide to Angels.
That's a crazy picture of Michael. I really like the hair.

Oh, I love The Normal Heart. So intense.
And thanks! I like the hair too, but I definately prefer him bald.

The last few pages of this thread have confused me. Why was Raul making that speech? Is Erin still in the show?
