Erin left, sadly, Elphie. I think that may have been his motivation for making that speech.

Oh, Raul. My heart goes pitter-pat.
And Elphie, just so you know, I think your pic with Raul is my all time favorite out of any I have ever seen. You are both so cute with your peacoats and over the shoulder bags! *is jealous*

Sorry, but I'm obsessed with Felix.

I agree! I LOVE that you two look like twins. And he looks so... proper.
Elphie, I just looked at the full size pic of your av again...are you inside the stage door?
Awwwwwwwwww, THANKS, guys! *feels all warm inside*
We're sort of...*right* outside the stagedoor, but I think the door might have been open. Raul got some random guy inside to take the pic. AHHH! I need to send it to him! I'll try to get that done tomorrow.
I'm sad Erin left. She was so good. But, it was time; she was starting to show when I saw it a month ago, and it was pretty clear at the parade. I hope she'll at least come to the closing show!
Just wondering. I became very familiar with that little lobby at the stagedoor entrance last weekend

Haha. Didn't you have to go in there to get your scarf? Or something?
Yeah, I had to wait around there for the security guy to escort me back into the theater, then when the cleaning crew said they sent my scarf to the stagedoor, I had to wait there again for the b*tch usher to bring my scarf down. Tons o' fun. I read all the posters on the wall.
What did they say?
There was a poster about Bush Sucks, an off-off Broadway show.
I'm back! It's kind of sad that tonight was very, very likely the last time I'll see the show. Funnily enough, I think what I'm going to miss most of all is seeing Raul dance.
I saw him on his way in, but he was with Michele, so I didn't say anything. I sort of regret not calling his name or something, but at the time, I didn't want to bug him. I still had The Normal Heart in my bag, though. They were walking arm-in-arm, laughing like mad. It was really cute.
The show was great tonight -- the audience was really warm, which I haven't seen in *ages*. The orchestra looked mostly full, for what it's worth. Everyone was in (except Erin, obviously). Chip's back!!
Only a few things that were funny enough to warrant mention:
1. "Observe. And be a-MAH-zed!"
2. When he first tells that the name of the car shall be Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, he said it in rhythm, as always, but did... well, rapping motions with his hands. It was... well, Raul, don't rap. Ever.
3. The dancing in the car. Really sexy, but not at all early-1900's.
4. "I'll give you what you jolly well deserve!" He stood straight up, hands on his hips and glared Marc in the face. Marc cracked up.
Random weird thing: someone in the audience sneezed during the beach scene, and literally on a dime, Raul -- in character, accent and all -- softly mumbled "bless you." It was a break of the fourth wall, but he did it *so* in character, it was kind of interesting, because it goes to show how in-tuned with his character he is.

Hahaha! I saw someone in the Chitty cast (I can't remember who) wearing a button that said "Buck Fush" the other day. I wanted to ask him where he got it. Hehehe!

Aw, it sounds like ya had fun, Em! Did you get a chance to catch him at the stage door?

The sneeze thing made me melt a bit, even though he'll probably be yelled at for it.
We waited, but he didn't come out.
OH! And Atrias and I successfully began his entrance applause! Finally!

Yay for the entrance applause and boo for him not coming out of the stage door...

Oh, I love that. That's my boy! I'm so proud. I wonder how Seth would feel about having an influence on Raul's dialogue! Something tells me he would be flattered!

Em! How exciting! And how funny about the sneeze!
Michele totally intimidates me. I can never say anything to him when she is with him. I don't really know why. But I think it's so sweet that they seemed to be enjoying each other's company. :)

Hehe. So no entrance standing ovation?
Ugh, I would have died laughing if I saw him do that. I'm so tempted to sneeze the next time I go, just to see if he'll do it again.
Sorry that he didn't come out for you. Doesn't he realize it may be your last time seeing it?!
He also said "I feel like I'm in a musical!" again. Good for him.
Oh, please, I'm petrified of Michele. I know someone who knows her through Friends In Deed and says she's AMAZING, but something about her is really intimidating -- and I've never spoken to her at all.

I've talked to her on occasion. She's actually really nice. At Euan's concert last year, Raul was slightly the center of attention. But she carried herself well. She wasn't clingy, and made the rounds talking to people and hanging out with Raul's crowd. I was very impressed.
The sneeze thing wasn't really funny as much as it was kind of mind-bogging that he literally did it without any seeming thought. Like, at that moment, he was still Caractacus, and this person happened to sneeze. It was cute, but a test to the way he works, too.
