Raul just speaking Spanish would be enough for me to keel over. In the Chatterbox tape, he says that one line in Spanish and I've watched that more times than necessary.
I'm trying to think of some excuse for him to speak Spanish in a show, but unless he's up for a West Side Story revival or Evita again, it's not happening. Someone needs to write a musical in Spanish so he can sing it.

There are a few words tossed around in Evita, it sounds like. But whenever he says "Peron," he rolls the r.
The first time I saw Chitty, he came out the stage door babbling in Spanish to a friend of his. I was one of the first people he came to, and I was just sort of gaping at him because of it.

I mean, the very first time I saw it, before I knew anything about Raul save for the fact that he was supposed to be amazing, it endeared me to him, so I definitely think it counts for something.
