Poor thing. Allergies aren't nice.
Get them all over with today! You don't want to sneeze in the middle of a picture or something!
Good luck with the essay. I should have a look at one, but I'd rather get a movie. Blockbuster's RIGHT across the street. Any suggestions?

Posted: 9/24/05 at 4:23pmI've seen the Family Channel version of it! It was pretty funny. And last weekend, my brother and I watched School Ties on TV. It was really good! Even my brother liked it, and he's 13, and usually hates everything I like!

Bless you! *hands Emcee a box of Kleenex*
I'd definitely watch School Ties again. Anyway, I have to go find something to eat. Hungrrryyy! Then I'll probably head over to rent a movie. Wish me luck!

Okay, so there are bout 47 other things that I should be doing rather than typing on here. But my friend that saw the show this afternoon said that at curtain call Raúl looked totally pissed off.
:/ That made me sad.
I really am going to get my work done now... honestly.

Maybe they didn't get a standing O?
Once when I was there the audience was dead and sat through curtain call and when he came out he held his hand up to his ear like "I can't hear you!". It was sad but cute.

Do they ever anymore?
That's a bit like what I was saying a few days ago on that thread about applause -- his whole "theatre is like a conversation" theory. If you want to just sit there, go watch a movie on your couch. He's working his ass off. In some of the more... audience-interactive roles, he'd get "pissed" in character at the lack of response. It was sort of excellent.

I don't undertsand... that show is so much fun and puts me in such a good mood. I don't get why people insist on sitting while the entire cast sings and bows with a car.
I agree with him, though. Audiences should be a part of it.
Anyway, I really am going away now.

Posted: 9/24/05 at 4:53pmIt makes me mad that people like the car better than they like the actors.

Posted: 9/24/05 at 4:56pmi feel like chitty is the kind of show you have to see at least twice. once, to be all excited about the car, and then again to actually appreciate the actors more...i like it even more every time i see it (i'm a chitty junkie, i'm not ashamed.) because now that i'm kind of over the whole car thing, i can actually focus on what the actors are doing, how hard they work, and the cute little things that they do (like last saturday raul's little "i feel like i'm in a musical!" during You Two)

My favorite little improv by him was when he felt the need to talk in french about his hair cutting machine and then say "That's French for...". It was cuter than I made it sound.
Oh, or when he was dancing to You Two with the kids and said something along the lines of "I'm sure every family does this." Aww...so cute

He speaks beautiful French! You know, judging by the five French words I've heard him speak.
I'm drawing a mental block as to my favorite Chitty ad-lib. Gr.

Hey folks. Em, I feel your pain-I'm sitting here with allergies of my own. Yet, I've been hopping around town.
Will this picture cheer you up?
