Wow, you guys have been busy today!
The waves of jealousy about tomorrow are starting to come. *beats them down*
Note to Raul~ Be nice! And don't get sick.
Feel, better, Em. Sneezing sucks.
EEEEEEE! My Senior picture came, and it is SO GOOD. It's the first time I have EVER been satisfied with a school picture. I am so proud of myself. I knew thinking about Raul would pay off!
I will *try* to either scan it or take a picture of it and post it, but I'm not sure if it will work. It will take a few minutes at the very least.
I like your avatar! Are you feeling any better?
Thanks!
And a bit, I went outside for a while -- that helped.
I just realized that this essay I've been putting off all day is WAY more work that I thought, and it's in Spanish. *kills self*
Ugh, essays in foreign language are the worst. We've been doing a lot of them for French lately. bleagh. It just better be worth it one the AP test.
How long have you been taking Spanish?
Ugh. Since seventh grade. But I skipped a year and never really got back in shape because I was expected to pick up what I lost over that year far too fast.
I'm at the point where I'm making crap up just so it's wordier, because I have a word requirement.
Eewwww, those are the worst! WHY do teacher do that to people? Not nice.
Wow, 7th grade, that's a long time. I've been taking French since 8th grade, but you wouldn't be able to tell by speaking with me. :-/
Okay, the picture is coming. I hope.
Me either. I can write it decently and understand fairly well, but my speaking is very, very poor. We only had to speak Spanish on two exams a year in high school, and now we have to speak it for the entire class period here, so I have a very hard time with it. But this is my last semester of it. Ever.
I need 600 words. I have about 100. Ugh.
^^^Thank you, Raul!
I really would like to be fluent in French. But that's not going so well.
ETA~ Wow, that's huge. It's kind of out of proportion. Ah well.

You took five years and never wrote essays?? I have them all the time and I'm in my fourth year. (and still have another to go)
We're past three hundred words!
I also hate speaking it because my accent is TERRIBLE.
not that i remember!! and i'm pretty sure i would remember something that traumatic, lol...we read a lot and made some movies, but that was really it.
Thanks!
We have to write dumb compositions about pictures our teacher goives us that have to do with the vocab for the week. We're suppsed to use 10 vocab words and 5 transition words from a list, which is pointless because you can't really use the words moreoever" and "therefore" in an essay about going on a picnic.
YAY, Emcee! Less than 300 to go! What's it about?
Internal cultural conflicts -- well, poems.

That's unfourtunate, Elphie. I brought my spanish work home, thinking I'd get ahead on it... but instead, I slack on my lab report. Elphie, I'm stuck on the calculations. What are Kelvins?
They're kind of like degrees, aren't they?
Lab 1? I'll IM you.
Have you SEEN these???! I was like, "WTF?!" Then I realized...

waitwaitwait, who wrote those? If it's not Raul, is he aware of the fact that someone is pretending to be him online?
They're role play games; someone tried to get me invovled in one for a bit -- it seemed like an interesting prospect, being as there's apparently a HUGE network of them, but I just couldn't get into it. I'm not an LJ person at all, even for my OWN thoughts.

It's disturbing that they're pretending to BE real people. What if someone mistook them for actual journals?
Way too much time on their hands. I couldn't stop laughing at that first one though. Geez...
