Yay! I love it when Michael breaks chairs! And as terrible of me as it is to wish this, I love it even more when he forgets the lyrics! Sorry, Michael...

Mmm... All I have to say is he better at least host Broadway Bares this year!

ohhh! I think a revisit to Sweeney might be necessary for my next NY trip...since I have to come back soon cause I didn't get to see I Love You Because... re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza 'Spread the Love' Thread, part two

I can't remember if he broke a chair when I went...Is this a slightly common occurance, oh Chrys-our-resident-Sweeney-expert? haha.

LOL! I've actually only seen him break a chair once out of the six times I've seen the show. But the look on Patti's face was priceles! Sometimes he throws it, and he just barely tosses it. Then sometimes he puts more "umph" into it and it still doesn't break. I'm always anticipating that. Incidently, I've only seen him forget lyrics once as well and it was the same night the chair broke. He covered really well, but Patti chimed in and helped him with the words. So I'm also aways anticipating a memory lapse at that one spot! So to answer your question, I'm not sure how regular of a thing it is. The chair *isn't* supposed to break, so I think he tries not to throw it too hard. But sometimes, he's just really in the moment. Hmm, six times in four months. That isn't *really* a lot is it?!

And Kooks, let me know if you want company when you see Sweeney. I'm always up for seeing that show... I'm sorry you didn't get to see I Love You Because. I was really looking forward to hearing what you had to say about the show. re: The Official Raúl E. Esparza 'Spread the Love' Thread, part two

oh, we DEF. need to see Sweeney! It would be super fun.

I was really sad about not seeing it, but Robin is moving soon so hopefully I'll be able to catch a bus and stay with him and see it...(cause I don't have my car anymore which is sad...dumb brother getting his liscense! haha)

Yes, he is. I love how his mother described him as being "pampered". That just never fails to crack me up...

He would make a great Peter Pan. Look at him almost-flying!

That only reminds me of the line in Anthony's book, where he says that Adam (upon first meeting) looked "more like one of Robin Hood's Merrie Men than some ex-junkie wannabe rock star."

I definitly choked on a Twix bar when I saw your post about Raul being one of the merry men Gboogie. Yay Anthony's book... Okay, that picture of the three of them together is.... gah, amazing. Anyone else think that Euan looks like he's being taken somewhere against his will there...?
