I'm just so amused by the ESPN Zone pictures, especially Raul's excitement over winning the game.
And, needless to say, that Raul and Adam picture is always appreciated.
Even the beach pic, Em?
No, but the other one of him.... mmmm.

My personal favorite, it took me a minute to take it all in, but then I was cracking up.

O_O The picture shrunk.
It had to reread it a few times. It didn't make sense. XD
Evil double post.
I think I'm too tired. I saw "LA times" for the sources for the links and I went: "What's, la times? It's not spanish." THEN it hit me. The picture messed me up!
I can't see it.

Sorry, I was trying to make it bigger, oh well. So cute though, when you see his face.
I get a whole: "What a puzzler!" vibe.
Heh, I've driven past that sign and each time, I've wanted to take a picture but never have. I'll do it the next time I'm home

Where is it?
Well, there are a bunch of signs for it, but the Center for Intelligence is in Virginia right outside DC.

Just wanted to pop in and say Jeffrey is the prettiest man I have ever seen in my entire life.
ETA: And Raul isn't bad, either!
Jeffrey's pretty like a little girl.
I don't like that the new system gave no warning whatsoever.
awww, part two! i love it! just had to pop in and say it...seems i'm much more of a lurker these days!! and i can't believe that i joined in on the Raúl loving when the first thread was on page FORTY-something!!! craaaazy.
How is it even possible that he never intended to be a singer? His voice is beyond amazing.
I know! He has a better voice than so many people who just consider themselves singers.
He sang as a kid, right? I mean, he did musicals, but he says he sees himself primarily as an actor. He's one of those ridiculous people who is just naturally packed with talent.
Well, for the most part, the two talents are interrelated. It seems that most singers make decent to very good actors, and most actors make decent to very good singers.
What did he do as a kid?
He went to an all-boys' high school, with apparently very little theatre, but he helped to make a theatre program spring up. Most of it was Spanish, I think. He did some drama competitions and things, for one of which he sang a song.
He went on to study drama in college, but that's no surprise.
Oh, I very much disagree! Most musical theatre performers are primarily singers and just passable actors. And the other way around, not all actors can sing. I think it's pretty rare to find someone who can sing, dance and act all very well. It seems like Raul is an actor first, and just happens to be extremely talented at everything else, too.
Raul never really did musicals professionally before Evita, right? I know he did How to Succeed in high school and I think one or two early on in Chicago, but if I remember correctly almost everything else he was in were straight plays.
I think he's an actor first, who just happens to be able to sing and dance. His training, it sounds like, is mainly as an actor.
He did a couple of musicals in Chicago, but Evita is the reason he's known for his musical work, I guess. That got him the raves all over the country.
I agree with him being an actor first. Everything else is just extra.
There's a Company thread on the Student Board!

He's such a great actor, I can't wait to see him live.
