Hola senoritas! I haven't popped in here in a while.
I see we are anticipating about Company, eh?

I'm not allowed to.

Oh, I see. I just know so many people who refuse to go to shows by themselves and I think that's just ridiculous.
I'd totally go by myself. It's just a matter of getting to the theatre, which isn't always the easiest feat. I sort of find it refreshing to do things alone sometimes... go to the movies, shop, etc. I imagine it'd be similar with shows if going were a routine thing.
Fun picture, gavroche!
Since I'm the only one of my closer friends who enjoys the theatre, I usually go alone. It's not too bad. Sometimes I'm sure I do look funny, especially while reading Paradise Lost during the intermission of Chitty or the Bible during the intermission of Dracula - silly Antiquities and the Middle Ages class, the Bible was so ridiculously long and we only had two weeks to read the whole darn thing, the same amount of time the prof gave us to read the Koran which is significantly shorter. Wow, can I digress or what? Anyway…oh yeah, I’ll be seeing the first two previews of Company (cheaper and during my Spring Break )!!
ETA: I wrote Chitty instead of Company. I'm stuck in my old habits. Hehe.
I had the worst dream last night that my aunt and uncle had gotten the scheduling wrong for Company and they were like, "I'm sorry, we're going to be out of town that weekend, we need to reschedule" and there was no other time that I could possibly make it there. It was terrible! And now I'm sort of paranoid, so I'm going to email them to verify that everything's still on.
That sounds like a nightmare. Don't worry, I'm sure that it won't come true!

I just booked my flight for Cincinnati. Now I've got to look into hotels.
You lucky ducks.

Checking in after quite a while. Have tried to keep up at least superficially. I'm happy for all those going to see Company. I was *this close* to getting my plan together to get there March 24-27 (including going to a conference), but starting a new job next week and don't think I can get the time off. Plane fares might be outrageous so close now, too.
Anyhoo....the point of my post...I just got an email from the Learning Annex for a screening of Find Me Guilty and Q&A with Vin Diesel and Sidney Lumet. It's only $10, which is a bargain for stuff like that with them. They're usually at least $20.
Unfortunately it's not a Q&A with Raul, but at least it's the movie a bit earlier than general release.
I'll cut and paste my email. Sorry, it's kinda long.

Vin Diesel & FIND ME GUILTY (Only $10)
Dear ...,
Our “Meet the Directors, Meet the Stars” series with Joel Siegel just keeps getting better and better. After Harrison Ford visited with us, I was left thinking what could possibly top that???
How about Hollywood mega-star Vin Diesel and the legendary Sidney Lumet and their new film Find Me Guilty? on Monday, March 13th!
So I’m calling out to all film students, movie fanatics and aspiring actors and directors. Don’t miss your chance to preview one of 2006’s first big films, as well as meet Hollywood players Sidney Lumet and Vin Diesel!
MEET A LEGEND AND A NEW STAR IN ONE NIGHT!
Some of America's best films have been helmed by Sidney Lumet, including 12 Angry Men, Network, Serpico, Murder on the Orient Express and the unforgettable Dog Day Afternoon. He's directed over 60 pieces of film and television, an astounding statistic that is attributed to his dynamic vision and presence as a director. Find Me Guilty is his first feature production in 6 years.
Vin Diesel is one of Hollywood's hottest rising stars. His credits include Saving Private Ryan, Boiler Room, Pitch Black, The Fast and the Furious, The Chronicles of Riddick and The Pacifier.
FIND ME GUILTY
Mobster Jackie Dinorsio (Vin Diesel) is serving time for a drug charge, but refuses to turn against his former associates as a witness. After a huge case involving dozens of defendants is mounted by the DA, Jackie decides to defend himself in court. Although he's initially dismissed as a lunatic, it becomes clear that his intrinsic knowledge of the legal system and colorful personality could change the course of the trial. Also starring Joe Pesci, Peter Dinklage and Annabella Sciorra.
This event hosted by Good Morning America film critic Joel Siegel, the #1 film critic in the nation.

I'll have to look into it further to see what time and where it's at and check my schedule book to see if I'm free.
It's a limited release, right? I mean, I'm sure it'll play in NYC if it is. I'll be at home for Spring break then, though.

Yes, I'm sure it will open in NYC the first weekend.
I hope that Find Me Guilty does really well in limited release and expands to a wider release... otherwise, I doubt that I'm going to get to see it.
Bumping so you all know where to put your pictures.
The Cary picture makes me happy.

But you have a Raul in your Pineapple as well! I love that I felt the need to capitolize Pineapple...
I love Raul, but at times he tends to take over Adam's thread when he has his own.

It's because Raul is so amazing, a single thread cannot contain him.
Or maybe it's because we're all crazy, a bit obsessed, and apparently can't stay on topic.

There is so much off-topicness on all the threads, lol, but it never bothers me.
Adam held him, so it's ok.
I don't know, I just find that Raul takes up a lot of the Adam thread, while he's got his own thread.

Wait, I thought he held Adam? *is confused*
"And there was a performance we did for the original cast of Rent, and, uh, I didn't even know Adam Pascal at the time, and he's since become a friend, but-- he just held me for three minutes crying in my arms."
Sounds like mutual holding?
