I'll call you tomorrow!

Eeep! I'm so excited for you! And I'm so excited for me, too! Haha!
sooooooooon!
I'm leaving in 6 hours and I can't sleep. Grrr. The drive tomorrow is going to be loooong. But Company is the light at the end of the tunnel.
Whee! So, the first review (from the Cincinnati Enquirer) is a top-to-bottom rave, particularly complimentary of Raul's performance.
"Esparza, who is a gifted singing actor, gives Bobby a deadpan delivery that in no way disguises the emotions roiling inside.
Esparza makes Bobby everything he is supposed to be - smart and ironic, lonely and longing, afraid of the pain of feeling too much, sexy as all get out. How could you not want this Bobby's happily ever after? "Step into the light, Bobby!" you want to shout.
By the time Esparza builds to the money number "Being Alive," a free fall into life ("somebody hold me too close, somebody know me too well...") at the show's finale, it's a release for the character and the audience. On opening night the crowd responded with a full minute of applause. That's a showstopper."

Tell me I'm not the only one who giggled at "sexy as all get out."
*bounce bounce bounce*
LMAO. I read that to my mom.
"I don't think he's sexy. Kinda flabby."
She says I should ask him for an interview. Which I would never do.
You should! What's the worst that could happen?
Your mother sounds very amusing.
Well, it's not really customary. You're supposed to go through agents and whatnot. My mom's basing the idea on my one and only interview, which was kind of an extenuating circumstance.
I would die to do it, someday.
I CAN NOT SIT STILL.
I'm excited for you!
I don't blame you! Take tons of mental notes... we want to hear everything.

I don't feel like going back and reading all the pages I missed, but I will later. I just wanted to say that I saw Company on Tuesday and it was really amazing. If there are any particular questions just ask me and I'll answer them, but I don't want to repeat anything or, well, whatever. I'm just drained from the drive and my bed tried to kill me. Seriously. But, yay Raul!! He rocked the house (which was kinda dangerous considering the theatre is on a pretty big hill).
Shame on your bed.
Skittles and I are off to see it in a few hours. I'm so fidgety!
Yay! Ang! I have a question: Did you stagedoor? Tell, tell!
I'm happy to hear that you had a good time!
Ok, I just read everything. And no, I didn't stagedoor because I was there with my mom and she had been sick all day and I didn't want her to have to wait. I was in the front row, pretty much in the center (spit zone, though, which was NOT cool). Being Alive was so...so...damn, there aren't words. The whole audience clapped and cheered for at least a minute after that number. I was impressed with the whole production, everyone around kept saying how they felt like they were "in New York City!" I tried not to laugh, but it was cute. So was Raul, I don't think his hair is any different, just unusual lighting. There was a huge standing ovation as soon as the show ends. It was a great audience who seemed to appreciate Sondheim and Doyle and Raul. He only plays the piano at the end for half a song, but he does remain onstage and active for 9/10ths of the show. Oh, and he plays the cymbals (is that how you spell them?) and seemed to get a kick out of how loud and fun they are (his face is priceless, he seemed like a happy, surprised little boy). I had a great time, the show was great, the theatre was cool, and Raul really seems to be in his element. Yay! Have fun tonight. Oh, and the aquarium is cool, if you end up going.
Yikes about being in spit territory! But it sounds like it was amazing. Not to bug you with questions when I know you're tired... but "Marry Me A Little" is in this production, right? How was that song?
My mom looked at me funny when I started cracking up just now.
.... about the cymbals.
eeeee, it's SO. SOON. I'm hoping his entrance allows for applause. He needs to feel the love.
Marry Me a Little is in, yeah.
LOL. I think most of us are gonna end up checking out the aquarium. I went this morning; it's fun!
Where exactly is the aquarium?
In Newport, KY. It's very, very close to downtown Cincy.
Thanks.
Have fun Em!
