And I. Could not. Find it.
*covers ears and sings loudly*
Heh, just kidding. I've heard *about* the motel story, but for some reason I totally didn't make the connection there.
The scene is usually referred to as the butterfly story, but that's April's not, Bobby's.
It's just friggin' hot.
I remember quite enjoying when he said "made love" in TNH -- so soft and beautiful. But. Gaaah.
Slightly off-topic, but the "Felix, please don't leave me." line in TNH kills me.
The screaming. Can't. Deal. With. It.
And he did it AGAIN in Company.
TNH killed me the first time that I saw it. I didn't know what I was supposed to to next.
How many times did you see it?
I was all set to go back, and then... it closed.
I was trembling all over afterwards. I didn't cry, but I was pale and shaking. I didn't stop thinking about it for months.
I didn't actually see it. I wish that I had, although it probably wouldn't have meant as much to me then.
Why did it close so suddenly?
The scream is terrible, but that line still gets me the most. It's just so like... painfully vulnerable and almost childlike, especially coming from that character. Updated On: 3/29/06 at 07:52 PM
ah. :)
Apparently something went wrong on the producing end. The whole story is really confusing to me, but it seems as though they thought they had money that simply... wasn't there, or more than they had, at least. It got stellar reviews, but never got the audience it needed to financially sustain itself, partially because the same people were seeing it again and again, and because tickets were rarely being sold for full price, negating how well it was selling. But then when the show extended past Joanna's availability, because there were no understudies, the production had to go on hiatus in order to rehearse her replacement, and to find understudies, since the play kept on extending. They were talking more extensions, and even a move to Broadway. But after that break, which was only something like two weeks, it never really picked up momentum again, and the producers had to pull the plug.
I like it when he says my name . But I also like "steamy Bangkok, Thailand"
I LOVE the Thailand line.
Now why aren't there any Ashleys in Company? I'm jealous, Sarah.
I have my name in his writing.... that's.... almost as cool!
Oh my god, we would have way too much fun with that.
That's awesome, Emcee... definitely as cool or (dare I say) cooler.

I have my name in his handwriting too. It's pretty.
*giggles*
It's time....
*loves*
I love him for that. I haven't had a good laugh at it in a while.
I still wish I knew what he meant!
