I don't like writing formal reviews because I feel kind of awkward doing so, but someone actually asked me to review Company. I'm glad that I waited a day to write it...I was just too giddy over having met Raul on Saturday to do much coherent writing.

*sigh*
WHY do I always miss the dirty talk?
We can.... do it again, if you want.
Okay!
So...
Lemons?
I love that picture. His...legs are amazing. *is jealous*
His legs ARE worthy of jealousy in that outfit. It's sad, but true.
And I still can't decide whether or not he waxed them...
My favorite quote of the day:
"The only sane fans are Raul fans."

hah. I'm curious to know where that's from.
hee. Me too.
Why do I feel like I *just* read that?

Well now, that's not true... lol. Where is it from?
I...don't even remember what I wrote about in my review. I don't want to look back, because I'll be tempted to change it. I think that with reviews a lot of the time, it's the first impression that *does* matter. I mean, look at the resulting drama on the Wedding Singer thread. It's polarizing, but I think that's important, because you get a realistic expectation. Like, if someone had just read the original post, they'd think "Oh, I'll love it because it's fun." If/when they didn't have fun, they would have an even stronger aversion to the show because they were left with a false impression of it and were more disappointed than if they had gone in with a more well-rounded opinion.
I'm not saying that you should write down a full review within 10 minutes of seeing it, but I think for what they're worth, a review shouldn't be like "Oh, well 3 weeks later, I realized I loved it!" because most people wouldn't even consider it for that long. Like, that's important for YOU and your overall opinion of the show, but for the most part, people have this selfish "I want it now!" attitude about their reaction to entertainment, so you have to consider that.
I think it's all just part of my own personal aversion to reviews in general and how I usually try to avoid reading them until after I've actually seen the show. Part of it is the "spoiler" aspect, but the other part is that I want to go in with a blank slate and see the show for what the creators intended it to be, not to see the show through Brantley's glasses. But that's just me; I know not everyone feels that way.
I don't know, I've probably just f*cked with a few people's heads, but I think I have a fever (yup, 99.4!), so I'm subjecting you all to my delusional 3am rambling.

So, about Company needing a proper cast recording...
I enjoy reading reviews, though prefer if they avoid spoiling some major aspect of the show (er, realizing now that my Company review probably should have a spoiler warning).
Whatever happened with the buzz about there being a few different producers bidding for Company? Have there been updates? Hmm.
My random thought for the day: Raul has beautiful handwriting.

Okay, so, about this being the most adorable picture EVER!
He looks gorgeous.
Really, about his handwriting? I need to see what he wrote to you, then! I think I expected it to be prettier than it turned out to be.

Oh, wow! That picture...
I think his handwriting is pretty. I mean, not exceptionally flowery, but quite nice for having to write quickly. I would scan it, but my scanner hasn't been working. Then again, my only standards of comparison are Anthony and Manoel.
