To great talent...

I left a comment. To great talent...

Random thought for the day: I love Raúl's laugh.

Em I have always loved his laugh. It's one of the first things I noticed. It's like a giggle, lol. I love watching him laugh too, on the Chatterboxes- he has this like really fun, open-mouthed laugh that just makes you smile along.

Okay, I think someone has watched the Chatterboxes too many times... and that someone is me.

To great talent...

It's very sweet.

I still love the moment on the Chatterbox where he bursts into giggles during Defying Gravity. Normally, grown men shouldn't GIGGLE, but...

To great talent...

I love watching him sing Defying Gravity.
"Nothing's lost forever. In this world, there is a kind of painful progress. Longing for what we've left behind, and dreaming ahead."

I need to buy that! At some point where I have money that isn't going directly to pay my credit card bill...

Thanks for the comment, Em. And thanks Skittles for saving my post from limbo. To great talent...

To great talent...

I woke up this morning thinking "Of God, what if it was a dream?" Then I looked up at my tick, tick...BOOM! CD booklet and I was like "Yay! I did meet him!" I still can not believe I saw this man perform live. I am in a state of 'wow'.

To great talent...

hee. My signed TTB poster hangs right beside my bed; it says the same thing your CD does, so I know how you feel! To great talent...

That's one of my all-time favorite line readings by ANYBODY.

To great talent...

Oh, to be that tuba....
#1837

To great talent...

hahaha. He did kind of feel up the tuba, did he not?

It was SO FUNNY. And then the look to the audience when April relates the story back to hers.

I also really, really loved the way he said, "But who will I take care of?" when I saw it. He sounded kind of choked up and afraid, as if he's just realized that he might go his whole life without feeling that, and finally sees how tragic that is.

I'm not gonna lie, it was hott. During that entire song where he just makes out me and my friend were like- Oh, to be April! And, speaking of, she just reminded me that the very first thing Raul said was "Sorry to keep you waiting" which is sweet/funny considering for like 20 minutes we just stood there while he talked to his friends, and we were the only ones there for the longest time.

The look! Price.less.

I... was thinking many an-impure thought during that entire sequence. Nothing will top the kiss in The Normal Heart, ever, but.... whoaaa.

He always apologizes for making you wait, or thanks you for being patient, which is sweet, but honestly, he doesn't have to thank me! I'd wait a very long while for him.

To great talent...

I know, like I felt as though I should apologize for bugging him, not to mention just standing there as he talked with his friends.

And yes, the Normal Heart kiss is... the best.
#1842

To great talent...

I love the look.

I'll meet him eventually.

The kiss in TNH still wins, but I'm sure most every girl in the audience was wishing that she was playing April. I love what they did with that scene, considering that they didn't have much in the way of a set.
#1844

To great talent...

Yes, and when you do you will be much cooler than us and not talk about illegal viewing of his shows or call him short!
#1845

To great talent...

The jaw.

All I'm gonna say.

They're displays of TOTALLY different emotions, those two kisses, but... he's quite the devoted actor. ahem.
