LOL! That's what I wanted to know. It was a production of A Midsummer Nights Dream somewhere in Texas. He played Puck, and had to wear the snake around his neck. He said that sometimes the snake would start tightening around his body. He also said they had a pig on set as well, and if you touched the pig, you were not under any surcumstances allowed to touch the snake.
When I asked him why the hell te took the job, he said in his boyish charm "Well, you know....it was Shakespeare!"

He actually almost took the snake home but didn't for two reasons. One, he didn't have the heart to feed it live rats. Even if they were New York rats. And two, Gibson was a puppy. And he was afraid she would become snake chow.

Um, yeah. Did I mention I love him....

Yay for all the Mano avatars!!

I seriously listened to all the songs Mano singed in all day today on my iPod walking down the hall. My friends were getting confused because they were talking to me and I wasn't responding...then they realized i had my head phones in...oops. .

I JUST GOT A MESSAGE FROM MANO ON MYSPACE!!

I decided to take a chance and send him a quick message showing him the picture from him and me at the stagedoor, I didn't actually think he'd respond!!

"hey thanks! i rarely actually get to see one of these pictures I'm always taking at the stage door... and here's one where I look OK? i totally remember you. thanks for coming!"

OMG I love him!

Mano. Honey. Yale graduates use capital letters. Cute nonetheless!

And he ALWAYS looks good. I've yet to see like... a truly horrible photo of him. He really seems like a sweetheart.

and get this, after I checked that, I had also added Benjamin Magnuson, and he had messaged me as well. I'm definitely sure that that MySpace is his because he was doing interviews and stuff on the Sweeney space...yep. I like this cast. .

nah, it probably is. He's not famous enough yet to have people answering his MySpace messages.

Does Mano have e-mail contact? ... since I don't have a MySpace? If he likes to see pictures, WHEN I meet him and get mine, I will send him one.

I'm so glad he's nice, I'd be quite upset to find that he's mean, that's always a letdown when somebody you idolize turns out to be a jerk.

I love that Mano went to Yale and got a proper education. That makes me happy that he didn't just blow it off and rely on theatre...although, he definitely has a future, but still. And Yale! He's smart too! Woo!

Well, it makes sense that he went the "real education" route, since he had no plans of being an actor, but rather doing the corporate America thing. I love smart actors; I think it makes them better at what they do. And what good is a pretty face on an empty head?

Anyway, I have no idea when I'm going to get to see Sweeney again, but if it's before the aforementioned other two gigs, I will ask about that.
