I wish I was a waif so I could throw on a oversized kaftan and wear really BIG sunglasses and just pace with a grande Starbucks coffee in one hand and my blackberry in the other. hahahaha

Hopefully Taylor chills out this season. :)

I was watching the marathon of last season earlier today. Bananas! I can't wait, I'm addicted to almost everything Bravo puts on television, lol.

I don't think the word chill is even in Taylor's vocabulary!

I only have basic Bravo so I don't get their programs until 6:00pm.

And how often do you think we will hear the word "bing" this season?!!

Footage of her in a limo on the phone, then getting out of car, then inside a snooty, sparsely appointed, railroad floorplan Soho boutique/designer's office. Trying on hideous clothes no one can afford and gushing how gorgeous they all are. Back in car, more stupid phone crap, then a party.

Gripping, gripping television. Barrrf.

nygrl, your observation is so funny since I like the show and had that realization last night. I was like why am I watching a show where the main conflict is a dress being fed-exed in time for demi moore to wear it? huh. when did this become a concept for a show. actually, i think i realized i like the show because it is so outside of my reality and i have a natural curiosity about what other people do. it is interesting to see what goes into someone being on the red carpet.

i only wish they could show the stars getting ready, but i doubt that would ever happen.

Rachel Zoe, another self-absorbed skank who's not worthy of my time.

actually, i dont think rachel is self-absorbed. i think she is exactly the opposite. she is "other-absorbed." she is paid to do the worrying and sweating for other people to look good. actually, i wish she paid more attention to herself and her sweet hubby.

Watched this last night for the first time. I couldn't stand Rachel. Man, was she irritating. I don't think I could spend two minutes in her company without wanting to leave. Her voice and manner of speech drive me up the wall. Plus, she is one beaten-down, harsh-looking woman. The overbite, the sunken in cheeks, the bags under her eyes, sallow skin, etc. She looks like she's at death's door.

I will say that I think she has a very good eye. Eva Mendes looked especially gorgeous. I love pairing turquoise jewelry with white, too...great call. That necklace was stunning (so were the earrings they borrowed for Debra Messing).

Her assistant Brad was funny. Bitching about the cell phone and then a quick, "ooh! Is that my boyfriend?"

that is the thing about zoe-lots of people are irritated by her but at the end of the day she knows what she is doing. if you ever listen to her talk about about how she has loved fashion since she was a kid and literally eats, sleeps, and breathes it, you get a glimpse into her humanity. she is carrie bradshaw when it comes to fashion. people can call her annoying or a bitch, but she is working for A-listers and she needs to be tough. when you are getting stuff together for anne hathaway, excuses just are not an option if you ever want to work again. if she drops the ball even ONCE with any of these people, she will be cut loose. thats why she is at the top of her game.

i agree blueroses that she looks like death warmed over, but she does not take care of herself.

also to hear stars like debra messing and susan sarandon talk about her, you realize that she makes them feel great about themselves and she does it well. she anticipates their needs and knows their bodies and respects them. rachel is a true professional.

plus, even though she has meltdowns, she almost never takes it out on anyone. she is flustered and bitchy but she does not yell at her co-workers. typically, they yell at her (taylor) or cry to her (brad) and she cleans up their messes.

I don't even know that she's that bitchy (from what I saw last night). I can separate her personality from her ability and admit that I think she is good at what she does. I just find her personality to be irritating and I don't think I'd enjoy being around her. And I'm a girly girl when it comes to fashion and clothes and accessories. I can dish about that stuff for hours.

I was surprised that I liked this show when I started watching it last season. The drama that goes on is just and aside at times. I just love to watch her do what she does. Her eye can just be uncanny when it comes to clothes and accessories. I am not big into the lives of the rich and famous but I do watch these award shows and I was thinking last night that although we are looking at these peoples lives, they aren't throwing all this money around. All of this stuff is on loan so I guess I am not as "disgusted" by the "excess" we see in Hollywood. She annoyed me when I first watched her but after a few episodes and then seeing the episode where she talked about her childhood and growing up, I really started to like her. I also wished that they would show them getting the stars ready for the Globes but was ok with seeing the outcome when they all sat and watched it on tv. What I also like about her is that after she does what she does, she gathers her people at home to watch on tv. She's not out there partying or on the red carpet. Although I would assume she may go to the after parties.

I watched part of it last night.

Awful television.

Hew assistant is cute and funny, but Zoe looks puffy and jowly.

And being in the wardrobe business makes watching this even more boring.

I tripped onto this show last season during the episode when there was a flood and ruined the dresses and the assistants didnt handle it correctly. The way she handled the situation as a boss was childish and bizarre...and her relationship with her sig other was also childish and bizarre.

This is one bravo show I cant get into. She's too unlikeable.

Now, anyone who knows my tv tastes knows that that is saying ALOT!

I love her assistant. He's the best thing about the show!

I agree that Rachel looks like she's in serious disarray. the woman needs a day off so she can focus on getting herself taken care of. Although when you're running around and making sure others are happy, it's hard to notice that you need some love as well.

I could really care less how she looks. As long as she is healthy. I just like her. And beneath it all, she seems to be down to earth. She just knows what she needs to get done and gets it done. And I really like her taste in clothing for herself.

"And beneath it all, she seems to be down to earth."

Huh?! She's all about style and looking pretty, nothing about substance.

When all you know is what has already been worn by whom and where, and nothing about what's actually going on in the real world, there's nothing 'down to earth' about her.

I wonder how her assistants can afford all those nice clothes. Are they samples? Do they get paid exceptionally well? Lanvin shoes and Chanel jackets for bitchy Taylor? Hmm?

It takes diff'rent strokes to rule the world! (yes it does...) re: 'The Rachel Zoe Project' - Season 2

Rumor has it she's a coke whore who supplies her clients with speed and encourages them to get crazy skinny. Don't know if it's true, but look at some of the girls she's worked with...Kiera Knightley, Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton and Nicole Richie (who broke off their friendship when she sought treatment)
