Would love to see the Razzies televised. Think how bad their obligatory bad production number would be
How can a documentary get acting nods? That's stupid...

To be fair, I don't think any of the nominees submitted themselves, so...meh
really, please, Far. 911 nominated for acting? get a grip... be more creative next time! there were a ****load of bad movies this year!
The Razzie committee members were obviously feeling lazy this year.

The theory behind the Farenheit 9/11 awards is that lying is a form of acting - and Bush, Rumsfeld, et al were lying.
oh, i guess that makes sense, but still...

Jon, if highly intelligent folks like Rath, CQ, and myself didn't really see that, then their point wasn't really made.
I understand that. And also it's not dishing the movie - it's just proclaiming their hatred for this administration even more.
Well, this smart guy had no problem understanding what the Razzies were going after!
And, don't you just love that Halle showed up to accept!!!! Good sport.
Jon, that explanation loses validity with the nomination of Ms. Spears.
Rath - It's just meant to be a joke. The Razzie's were just mocking the administration and Britney Spears - people they obviously like to make fun of. There doesn't have to be an exact reason, it's just funny. A joke.
I think it's great that Halle showed up to accept it. I'm still shocked that she won the Oscar for MONSTER'S BALL OF CRAP
The Razzies used to be funny, but now they're boring. What about the REALLY bad movies? "Christmas with the Kranks", "Darkness", "The Whole Ten Yards", and "Van Helsing" were robbed I tell you. ROBBED!
Exactly, broadway86!
I will, without shame, admit that I enjoyed Van Helsing.
"Christmas with the Kranks"??? what about "Surviving Christmas"??? AHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Right, CATS. The point being that the Razzies took the lazy, easy way out this year for whatever reason.

I saw the clip on TV of Halle accepting her Razzie - aww, I had to laugh; I've never had a real opinion either way about her before, but thought it was cute of her to get up and play along.
She did? I never thought of her as a 'cool' person, but I think that may change soon enough...
