She was too busy making those gorgeous cuff bracelets PM...
Ah, you're right, danmag! I've completely forgotten about her ever so prosperous cuff bracelet endeavors!

I loved when Lynn said "Vickie thinks I don't work - I work just as hard as she does."
Doing what, exactly? I would agree with the fact that living in general is hard work for her.
Speaking of Andy Cohen, where the hell did he come from? He's like the gay ringleader for all these unfortunate women..

Miss C, I believe this whole Housewives phenomenon was his idea...and turned what was a failing arts network into a reality shlock network...which I watch religiously, of course.
His talk show is terrible and he's an awful host tho, imo, even if I do think he's pretty cute.

Gretchen is the only one I actually like. She has almost made me even like Slade! He's still a slimeball, but they are kind of funny together. I definitely think she could do much better tho.
I thought Gretchen really went out on a limb with "mommy of the year" Lynn's skanky daughter...okay, they're both skanky. It seemed pretty genuine. I'd tie that kid up in her room until college...but that's why I dont have kids, just kitties.
Lynn and her husband are pathetic, but I'm not totally offended by them. And you all know you want one of those cool cuffs! WTF?! Are her wrists cold?! Is she a viking? When she got her surgery, couldnt they tone down her jowls? She could store a tree full of nuts in there!
I'm used to Vicky and her BS and I really love her daughter and Don is my favorite person on the show. Vicky hit rock bottom two seasons ago when she made a surprise visit to her son at college and was upset to crying when he didnt act like he was thrilled. After that nothing she does surprises me...but I did laugh out loud when she mentioned the carats of the ring DURING THE CEREMONY! Ugh, she's a mess...but she does work! She works my nerves!
I hate Tamra and I hate Simon more. She's a filthy liar and he's more domineering than Alexis' husband (also still laughing at the foot comment!) I especially hate the opening credits when she says that no housewife comes hotter while she poses in black lingeree?! Was that an acutual photo shoot or did was that just in her bathroom mirror?
What can I say about Alexis and her blob? OMG, when they had the pastor and his wife over for breakfast and even THEY thought it was creepy? Of course, I'm not fond of anyone who uses the lord as a sledgehammer. She's just so contradictory and seems to have no grasp of what she is preaching, or the bible in fact! She's one of those "God is a genie" christians. Oh, and I hate her opening credit too! "...Look at me!"
But I cant wait to watch each episode, and they are my least fave of the franchise!
I thought that NY was up next, not NJ...

Yep, NYC is up next. Out of all the Housewives series, I think NYC is my favorite. Close second is New Jersey, followed by Atlanta.
I'm in the same boat as you, doodle. As much as I can't stand some of these ladies, I still watch.
She's just so contradictory and seems to have no grasp of what she is preaching, or the bible in fact!
You've hit the nail on the head. That's exactly what I can't stand about her. It's one thing to have read the bible, gone to church and have a genuine understanding of it all. However, it's completely different to think you have a grasp of it when in actuality you don't really know what you're talking about.

OK, that cracked me up Doodle!!!
The NY housewives start up at the beginning of March, I think?? As far as those NJ housewives are concerned, I can only hope the prostitution-whore makes a comeback!
I find all these shows waaaaaay too entertaining.

I'm not a regular watcher but I did catch the episode where Vicki's daughter was talking about needing a biopsy on some tumors. I hope they turn out to be benign. And Vicki is a workaholic but, as other's have said, she has a job. I thought Tamra was disgusting at Lynn's party. She was all "Vicki's my friend" but as soon as Vicki was gone she started talking crap about her.
I like Gretchen for the same reasons other people stated. You get what you see. She's not pretending to be anything but what she is. And I wasn't that bothered by her talking to Lynn's daughter. Sometimes a girl needs to talk to someone who's not her mom It didn't do any good in this case but I know it has in others.
What I didn't get was why Lynn's daughter was flipping off the camera when she called her mom to tell them about the eviction notice. The whole time she was on the phone she was covering it with her middle finger. Did she think this would hide the conversation?

Andy gets such a hard-on when he does those reunion shows with all the cat fights. He's what you'd called shameless.
Alexis has that "you're not the boss of me," head swinging attitude. Her husband looks like an old fat king from like, the 17th century with his harem of prostitutes. I wouldn't trust him with those nannies if I were her.

Why the eff does she even have nannies?
Did you see the one where she took the 2 YEAR OLD twins for mani/pedis? How stupid of an idea was that?

I literally did a facepalm and wept for humanity when I saw that episode.

She's preparing them for their sweet sixteens when they get prepped for their inevitable implants.
And does anyone else find it offensive that they bring their nanny with them when they visit their friends? All they're missing is a big mammy to unlace her corset and fan her.

Gawker posted the preview of The Real Housewives of New York.

Also New Jersey is still on. I do remember reading an altercation between the daughter of one of the Housewives and a Housewife while taping.

Ok, Alexis's prayer over Briana was a JOKE.."Dear Jesus God in Heaven you turned water into wine and made lunch for millions out of a fish, Jesus Heaven, Briana is a good girl and make her well in your Jesusy ways. You are Jesus. Amen." NONSENSE.
I also loved how her and "face like a foot" invite the pastor and his wife over and ended up talking about Alexis breasts and how she can use her "prettiness gift" to serve God. WTF???? They must be BIG contributors to that church to tolerate that nonsense.
Lynn is a catatonic stoner. She's insane. She's always on pain pills.
For the record I would do Simon or Slade, even though I dont like either of them. I think they are kinda cute. But they wouldnt be allowed to talk.
Still love Gretchen-she is the most real of them all.

I really can't rank the Housewives series just yet until I watch the new season of NYC, but I will say Atlanta is number one on my list.
Speaking of Bravo, does anyone else watch Kell On Earth?

I feel bad for Donn and really can't understand what he sees in Vickie. At their renewal he talks about loving her and being committed to her kids and she talks about how much she spent on his ring. ?????? Maybe it will be like Jon and Kate and they will split less than a year after their renewal.
Lynne's biggest problem is that she is really Steven Tyler in drag.
