heh, i was trying to study for mine on the car ride home from nyc... i ended up just falling asleep. that textbook puts me to sleep SO easily. i got a nice 30 min nap though

I just can't wait.

any hours beats the napping-standing-or-sitting-up in a train (or bus) station in the wee hours of the morning.

tonight - I get to go home like a normal person and SLEEP until my body wakes up naturally.

That's too bad, NTG, it couldn't possibly be as scary as some other glares I've heard about...

Is it a good idea to use your own photo, though? Is that safe to put it online? What are your opinions? I debate it.

My own photo...I don't know. It's already been up on ff.net before...my dad says it's okay with him so...yeah.

I'm generally really careful, and it's not like anyone knows my last name or my address or even where exactly I live. So in my book it's safe.

It's kinda funny, NTG. My parents are less strict than yours because they don't have parental controls or anything, but they'd go ballistic if I wanted to show a picture to someone I knew only online. How much information can a person get about you just from seeing a picture, anyway?

I don't know...they could probably find you if they really, really tried. But let's face it. I think stalkers would be much more likely to hang out in online dating services, singles chat rooms, etc. than here. They'd have to go to an awful lot of trouble. And I'm not about to agree to meet anyone in a dark alleyway either.

I just said I was leaving, didn't I...I guess my firstborn has been eaten...

EDIT: som, did emcee show you the death glare avatar? You need to see it...I just finished un-demonizing the pics. They were the most demonized pics I have ever seen.

I'm getting a digital camera for christmas... hm. I don't think I'd post it, but I might email or AIM a picture to some people.

It always bugs me when people make casual plans to meet an online buddy... happens a lot. 99.9% of the world isn't out to get you, but it's the .1% that is that's the most dangerous...

it's not too bad..

you're right som - one bad apple can spoil a whole bunch of social lives...

I was at an OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE getting a to go order last night (across the street from the job) but the to go door is right off a very large parking garage.... I walked to the corner instead because it was well lit and I could see anyone coming from any direction...

it's a shame that you have to think about that kind of stuff - but you do... I travel late a nite all the time (from shows - from tv gigs) or early in the morning (early calls, etc.) I always have to think about being a woman, alone, in a car - where I'm going - where I'm parking - scanning the area before you get out of your car and all that... the saddest part of all, it becomes second nature...
