i just got back on. anyone else here?

yess, new years! my grandparents life in NYC, but they're going out to arizona for the winter, so my family is staying in their apartment. i think we might even go to times square to watch the ball drop, which none of us have seen, even though we live 30 min. from NYC.

I saw RENT on tour this past summer and I thought everyone except Roger and Maureen were superb. But, the problem is that I am so used to Fredi and the gang's interpretation that it is hard to see/hear anyone elses (Same with any musical that I have heard the cast recording to first).
