**feels stupid**
I like Tracy Chapman, but I dont know that song.. atleast not by title..
That's like one of he rmost famous songs...PM me - and then IM me, I'll give it to you:
Gimme one reason to stay here
And I'll turn right back around....

Cool.. I think I have atleast one of her cds at home.. I have so many cds it's crazy, I go in spurts of what I listen too.. Currently I'm stuck in Cast recording mode/ that or good charlotte.
I am stuck in cast recording mode FOREVER
I am too, but more so of late..
speaking of which Without You is on..
**sigh**
I will normally listen to the radio in the car or at work, but not in the last few months.. it's been all cast recordings all the time..
I feel your pain - well, not PAIN...
Then I get stupid crap stuck in my head and can't get it out but can't remember where I heard it....
I had Rafikis Totenklage stuck in my head FOREVER - and this person isn't even great...
I'm in no pain.. I love Cast recordings.. I will be anmgry if they stop making them though.. I read something a while back that the record industry was planning to stop making them.. I freaked there was this whole petition that went out.
I love Rafiki.. I haven't seen that show n a while.. last time I saw it was at the pantages theatre in Hollywood 2 1/2 years ago..
I love the song Halloween.. it is so fitting.. I understand where Marks character is coming from in that song.
Hiya Fredi!
Do you plan on going out to the West Coast to watch the filming of RENT?
They would never stop making them.....would they? NO...won't even ask that!
TLK is a little guilty pleasure, I'll admit that...
I never make it to Halloween b/c I get distracted and there's too much (albeit GREAT) music...
There is talk of them not making them any more.. Which is horrible.. I dont know if the petition has doen any good.. but we tried..
I often skip to Halloween.. It's one of those songs that I can really identify with..
I can't believe they would even consider to stop making them...

They would if they can't make money off of them.
From what I read, they dont think the market is big enough to continue making them.. Which really saddens me.. I know it's the first section I go to when I go into a music store.
It's the only section I go to...what about move soundtracks?
well, maybe they'll make them and sell them in theatres...hehe
NO, they can't do it!
no it was strictly the cast recording that they were targeting.. movie soundtracks were safe..
The problem with selling them in the theatres is that, a company still has to spend the money to get it made.. that would lessen the market.. I'm afraid it would most likely be all or nothing.. Then the problem would be that bootlegs would become more popular.. And that hurts the industry as well.. It's a lose lose situation.. I would hate to see that happen.. I couldn't live with out my cast recordings..
I will die if they stop making them...no, I am already dying!
HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
**whips out emergency first aid kit, consisting of dozens of cast recordings**
Breathe there.. nothing is set in stone.. Who knows what will happen..
I should go research it and see if the record companies have changed their stand on this..
I. Can't Breathe. Need. Cast. Recording. Help. Death. Death.. Death... Death....
They can't stop making cast recordings!!
Still dying...
I adore Tracy Chapman. "Give Me On Reason" was the song that got me through a bad breakup! (That, and "Give Me My Money Back" by whatshisname.) It would be hella cool to hear Fredi sing that song. It's one of my FAVORITES!
ok guys, pulling it up on iTunes so I can stop feeling like an idiot..
YAY! you agree!
Here, that...if Tiff likes the idea you HAVE to do it....hehe...
I've only heard one song by Tracy Chapman, and that was "Fast Car."
Hey guys. Sorry for the freakout last night to all those who read it...after talking to people today, I have concluded that
1) of the three people reading for Dolly, each of us thinks the other got it and
2) no one else is willing to call it because they all say it was too close.
So I guess I know nothing.
On a quite random (but amusing) note, I had my Spanish oral exam today. The teacher drew questions from a hat and asked us three of them. They were amazingly easy. And people screwed up royally. The teacher kept rolling her eyes at me cuz I'm the oldest person in her class. (I switched out of Latin after the teacher went a little bit insane.) People kept saying things like "mi bien" (me good). The teacher joked that she had a class full of Tarzans. Oh and I was amazed by the number of people who messed up the accent on "papa." For those of you not taking Spanish, "PApa" means potato. "paPA" means father. So a lot of people were talking about their potatoes.
Wow...that was long...just thought I'd share.
