Well sometimes brutal honesty can be overly harsh and counter productive.. I have to remind myself of that frequently.. I have hurt too many peoples feelings in the past..

Okay see, SHOULD the crown get more access though? Because the assumption that that argument is founded on is that the complainant is indeed the victim, and by restricting the ability and ease of access on the part of the accused, isn't that essentially considering this guy to be culpable, at least in part?

tiff - if i were your professor - i'd have to ask what do the discrpencies between crown and defense have to do with gender in the profession...?

yes, by restricting access it is presuming the defendant guilty and not innocent. It's a ouble standard or, in the least, very hypocritical.

If you are like Brooke Shields on Friends, then you are talking to a real Harvard lawyer - JoAnne.....your prof. can't prove it...

Yeah, the latter Fredi. It's talking about women as sexual assault victims in the legal system. (But we usually cover women in in the legal profession - this is the class where I wrote that paper on the portrayal of women lawyers in the media).

Hyundai Sante Fe 4X4

I hear they run really well - it reminds me of the Rav4 (which I also like)

It's smaller than our Ford Truck - but we don't need 2 that size (or have to buy that much gas...)

It's the perfect little mommy-mobile
