that's the first word I learned how to spell...and the only one I can spell fowards AND backwards...
What about that song with the longest word in it (the name of a mountain in New Zealand)...I'd like to learn that song...

welcome, roger!
i think i'm seeing hairspray soon, my dad recently asked me if i'd seen it when he asked what CR i was listening to, and i said hairspray. he seemed genuinely interested, especially after i went on about how i love the movie and the music and it won the tony for best musical and all my friends who have seen it have loved it.
c'mon, i had to milk it while i had his attention.
my dad isn't a big broadway person, and he's seeing wicked for the first time on 1/1, and he doesn't seem all that excited. i pulled up the week in review on playbill.com and showed him that wicked has been at 100% FOREVER and has the second largest theater on broadway. i also said that people would KILL for his ticket, and that he should enjoy it. then i showed him the prices of wicked tickets on e-bay. and of course he's already heard the CR from my endless playing of it. i think he'll appreciate it a lot more now.

my dad's seeing wicked for the first time 1/2...
Hairpsray, frotn row, coming up (second time)...
I'm not as bad with film although I do nit pick some.. I notice when hair is not right from shot to shot.. especially differences in length.. I notice shadows and such as well.. It's the price we pay I guess.. My other little thing is to try and figure out how stuff I haven't seen before works.. Lucky at this point I dont see the script re-writes, and contract negotiations are very easy.. As for Budgets, I see that constently..

yes rr - and i'm afraid you'll have to search the thread for the answer
(guys still putting together that FAQ - any suggestions?)

heh, i used to post on imdb about the rent movie. but the topics just kept repeating, and a lot of them i had already debated here on the screenplay thread. so i've stopped wasting my energy. dare i say that there's even more whining on that board then here? "the OBC is too old" "so-in-so should have played mark!" "columbus sucks!" etc...
fredi, have you gotten around to reading the screenplay yet? i'd like to hear your thoughts on it, from someone who knows screenplays well.

Any questions you should add into your FAQ?
Why don't you have a website?
I think Fredi said she was going to withhold comment and judgment on the film until it's released.

(not to mention someone who know Rent well...)
No prob RR.. but you just missed the in depth discussion on boobs.. But I'm sure it will happen again, it always does..
And yes be afraid of Tiff.. She's NAUGHTY!! I wont even go into what she's saying on the other thread..
Fredi, we just need to set you up a link or something so when some one asks a FAQ we can just post it and be done with it..
