It's based on the Dylan Thomas poem...and that should be "Wales", not "Whales."
Too much Dolly...oy.
"We've got to see the stuffed whale!"
That's cool Fredi.. I will have to pop over there and check it out..

Drama - like
1. no shot sheets to the announcer when we're already on the air (so he doesn't know what shots are coming that he's supposed to be talking about..) - this has been happening ALOT lately...
2. video running the wrong track (we're on the air already) annoucer is talking about one thing and the image is of another...
3. Massive audio problems - certain guests are not heard on the air....
4. lots of high-strung corporate types worried about their jobs so much screaming and yelling and running about...
i try to stay in my little room and do what i'm supposed to do - i don't want the director yelling at me (especially this one - he can be EXTREMELY nasty and I don't really react well to that sh**
that's why sometimes I won't "talk" with you guys - though I'm always reading along...

here's my random thing -- tonight is the last night of chanukah.
I'm listening to the Brooklyn OBCR.

This show has beautiful music and you cannot deny that.

That is a great idea, Fredi!

But won't you get movie fatigue? Wait...there's no such thing.
And make sure you stuff your face with as much popcorn and other assorted junk as you can!

i'm listening to wicked -- for ONCE i'm ACTUALLY not listening to RENT! lol
i need to do that too, fredi... theres like 6 movies i want to see
Strangely, it's not in mine. A few people have Type 2, but I have Type 1...it's weird.

my family all has heart problems. my great uncle (i think that's the relation) has had FOUR open heart surgeries.
so far nothing major has happened to me, but i was born with a heart murmur that closed, and i have a blood clotting problem -- i'm missing the 11th enzyme that clots your blood, but it's only defective on one chromosome, so it's not really a problem unless i have a massive surgury.

popcorn?
I sneak in CHINESE FOOD!!! That's the only way to do movies!!!
Egg Foo Young!!!
I usually get popcorn around movie #3
movie fatigue - HA! Surely you jest (I know... don't call you "Shurely"...)
NTG - wow... genetics are bizarre, nuh?
Wow.
So...I have that damn rock opera tomorrow...in the building with now heat. Lovely. And I was informed today I'm supposed to come up with a costume.
well my grandmother is a bit odd.. I thought she would take it personally and be really hurt that I wasn't going to be here.. I was sick as all get up on my birthday and she was upset and said I was treating her like crap because I just wanted to be at home in bed sleeping. But she wanted to take me out to dinner.. It's not that I need her permission, because I dont I just dont want to kill the the little 80 yr old, or piss her off..
Yeah diabetes, I dont know if I could survive that.. too many other issues. haha.. My Dad has it and so did my grandfather..
Yah for all day movie marathons.. I need to have a LOTR one now that the 3rd movie is out in extended version.
Yes, genetics are quite bizarre. I've come to hate them.
But hey...there's nothing I can do, so usually I just don't think about it.
When I was diagnosed they told me I'd be cured in under five years. That was 11 years ago and now they're saying maybe in ten. If I'm lucky. And now with the new stem cell research policies...
Anyway. Holding onto the happy mood.

genetics. ughh don't remind me. i really HATE genetics, but i have to take a class on it next semester. the only 2 semester science classes in my school are zoology and genetics. i really wanted to take zoology, but my guidance counselor said i have to take both. NOT looking forward to it. especially since i was horrible at genetics in biology... it all seems like guesswork to me.
i LOVE movie marathons. i recently did all three harry potters.

well beka - it's good that you know so much about your fam's medical history - it can save your life...
first off - you learn what COULD be waiting for you down the road and you can fix your eating and exercise habits early... (not that exercise is your problem - which is good...)
but - i danced from age 4 (ballet, jazz, tap) and still take class to this day - didn't stop my body from becoming what it was destined to be.... i remember when my ballet teacher told me to "switch to jazz" - same year I got boobs.. (10)
I'm glad I know all about my folks history - I was able to make concious decisions that I'm sure are helping me now.
::sigh::
This show is so sad...

I guess I'm really lucky health-wise, which makes me not look after myself, but oh well, I'll eat healthily someday soon. It's on my to do list.
And I'd love to sneak Chinese food into the picturehouse! (I love that word!), but I'd be afraid the attendant would start sniffing 'What is that aroma...?' And then I'd get all embarassed. But I'll try it next time!
Can I also suggest a pedicure Fredi? Those are the best..
Hey guys, check out the thread I just started "I once was blind, but now I see." It pretty much sums up my day, and I'm still so angry and upset that I'm shaking typing this.

i was tested for the enzyme deficiency only because my mom and grandma have it. my mom has it on both chromosomes though.
i began gymnastics when i was three, then switched to ballet when i was 7, but i went back to gymnastics. i had a lot of energy when i was little (i don't now, haha), and ballet didn't burn it all off. i am told i was pretty good at it, though.
