"but none of you are unhappy WHEN YOUR SITTING IN THE AUDIENCE ARE YOU?"
i'm guilty, it's true... but i do remember that the actors HAVE A LIFE! i've never seen a show around the holidays before... i usually avoid the city -- TOO MANY TOURISTS! i guess that's coming to an end on 1/1.

Actually, I like to sit around in my PJs all day on Christmas, so don't go accusing me! What was it like to do holiday shows? Any special things?
Ok, so on tour you get, in addition to your salary X number of dollars to pay for food, shelter, ect and you are given choices for living quarters and you do get a place to stay for sure, but you don't HAVE to take it.
Fredi, what is your favorite city that you've visited and why? Actually, anyone can answer. Where do you like best?

Thanks Fredi...
One more, what about children? Do they get home schooled?
Ok, 2 more...do you travel in your own car? plane? In a bus they provide?
Haha, well, this is weird!

Nah, that's about it really. I like everywhere! But I really want to go to Sydney, Rome, Barcelona...and too many more to mention! Also I HAVE to see the pyramids in Egypt before they crumble away...and also Venice!! My G*d, it's sinking! So many places, so little time. Actually - so little money.

fav city -
in all the world PARIS - loved living and working there...
fav city on tour -
well my fave city in the us is actually SAN FRAN - but we didn't go there on that tour...
best city on the tour was FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA - near paradise - reminded me of Barbados
working on holidays SUCKS - but the audiences love it and you try to keep that in mind - only thing special is extra pay...
the children are in school in Barbados - their live are not interrupted by the madness that I live - we miss each other but i talk to them every sunday and we email and im and all that - this is their first christmas without BOTH of us and it's hard on everyone - we hope by next christmas they will be able to be here in the states (their first winter!!!)
OK I'm gonna go try to catch up on what I missed - 100something pages - which other thread?
OH NO!
awww fredi, ive always wanted to go to paris...maybe someday!!!!
and i looove working on holidays cuz of the audience, but I guess it's a little different on bway/ tours

bso - i've heard only great things about studying abroad. this year in my classes there are german and russian foreign exchange students, and they're LOVING it.
my mom studied in japan for two months. she LOVED it. she still keeps in touch with her host family. recently, they've been emailing back and forth. it's definitely something you won't forget.
Actually I think the question was about the kids on the tour.. maybe I'm wrong..
I have seen pics of barbados, my mom went this summer.. WE have a good family friend from there..
Yay For San Fran! I love that city, just hate to drive a stick there..

i have ALWAYS wanted to go to paris, more so since i began taking french in 6th grade.
the 2 french classes were supposed to go to montreal and quebec (CANADIAN PRIDE, TIFF!) in 8th grade, but it didn't happen. to make a long story short, i couldn't go anyway because it was the same weekend as my cousin's bat mitzvah. the trip was cancelled, though, mainly because of SARS, but for many other reasons.
there are only about 50 french students in my grade of 800, so we're pretty close-knit. every year so far we ask the new teacher if we can go to canada. and i've been begging my parents to take me there too.
