oh yeah, cam, my question was about the tour
"spork girl... HAHA"
wtf? I open this thread and THAT is what I see?!?!

*duh* cam I think your right...
okay - yeah - the kids on the tour have to have "guardians" i.e. a parent or substitute with them on the tour - and they have a tutor/wrangler for the duration. they take classes during the day and do the show at night - also they are "double cast" with means minors can only do a 4 show week...instead of 8.
and yes beka (and tiff) CANADA IS BEAUTIFUL!!!
beka YOUR ICON IS TOO BIG!
THat picture of Idina scares me!!!!!

"wow - big drama - announcer got caught on camera still scrambling
didn't know they were on.."
i always think is funny when you see the reporter standing in front of the camera not saying anything because they haven't gotten the que yet. ive never seen anyone scrambling before... that must have been funny. haha
ughh the louvre, DON'T REMIND ME.
oh, my french teacher has been absent almost as much as me. first she got the flu, then she was out yesterday again. i just heard today that she's in the hospital with an intestinal infection. that must REALLY suck.

Emcee, I was talking about me. I am Spork Girl, you are Spork Carrier Girl. And if Adam ever sues for freakishness, I'll be a lot harder to track down so good luck!
My parents probably wouldn't pay for me to travel- they want me to stay in safe little Ohio and away from 'those foreign countries, it's just not as safe over there...' If I do get an oppertunity, where do you all reccomend? I'm taking Spanish, FYI.

When I was in Gay Paree, the teachers brought us to see the Eiffel Tower, but decided we could only go up to first level, because it was too expensive! Can you believe that??
So that just would NOT do - I had to break away from my group discreetly and sneak up to the top. The view was so amazing, I didn't want to come down! I spent way too long up there, and when I came down I couldn't find the group. I foolishly wandered off, and was eventually found by an irate teacher who dragged me all the way back to the hotel and rang my mother. Oh well - worth it!
One day I will get to see the world.. I love to travel.. I could travel for months just taking pictures..
Yikes Fredi, drama, drama, drama..
I hate the stupid EIFFEL TOWER (lol jk)...when I lived in Paris my window looked over the damn thing...

Are the kids on tour 'normal' persay? I mean, that's a huge thing to do at age ten or eleven like the ones in the Lion King. I don't know if you'd answer or even if you could, but I'm just curious...

hahaha great story ellie..
don't blame you - the view is AMAZING!!
London can be fun - but nothing beats Paris.
HATE Rome (NYC 3000 years older, louder and dirtier...)
Venice - smells true - but beautiful none-the-less
all of the French/Italian Riviera rocks in fact....

yes, i know my icon is big, jmac, but i love admiring it. NTG made me the idina one, but i couldn't part with taye just yet. i drool whenever i look at it.
Didn't Tiffard say you can only have one? It's driviing me insane!
And som, per se
Is it wrong to live life looking through a camera lense? sometimes I feel like I'm missing out, yet I just can't put it down.

the "normalcy" of the kids was often directly connected to their parents (I think we talked some about this last nite?)
2 of them (who are young adults by now - 14/15) were AMAZING people. I'm proud to know them. And one of them had an incredible mom... the other young man - he's just blessed. it's in his personality to be a thoughtful and loving young man. He's managed to get a lot of guidance outside of his home life that has helped him greatly and his God-given talent is the ticket that got him away from home....
others were spoiled brats - talented but obnoxious. Fortunately for me, being a mom and all, I could keep them under control even when the wrangler could not....

Cam, it can be a shield- that's how the photographers of the holocaust dealt with their job, the camera made it impersonal... less feeling. Mark in Rent is similar. Just remember that sometimes the best captures of moments are in your mind, not your film.
Ellie, you rebel. Rock one.

What the devil's wrong with these kids today?
Kids
Who can undertsand anything they say?
AHHH!
Your icons are driving me insane!
Nia, You are wise beyond your years.. I know what you mean. but it's hard to put the camera down a lot of the time.
And yes I identify with the character of Mark more so than I care to admit most of the time.. Halloween makes me cry..

Thanks, cam. *blushes*
Fredi, thanks. It's odd what fame seems to do to people, it brings out the best or the worst. Some feel like they have even more of a reason to take care of themselves and their relationships with others because they know it's a long road ahead, others think they can walk all over people.
