'In the libretto it says he dies in Without You '
Hes just really sick in Without You and Collins is there caring for him I thought.
Could be wrong though, 'cause I haven't seen it

bwaybabe - can't say - i knew the show too well before i heard the OBCR....
unfortunately - i have no objectivity...
i can't believe you guys told...
Knowing that Angel dies shouldn't really change the initial reaction though... I have a friend who's seen it at least 15 times (actually, she was one of he regular neder campers) and apparently she still cries if the performance is good...
Plus it seems they already knew he does die, just wanted to know when
::cracks up::
Wow...you know you're hyper when...
ok I just saw the show 12 times in a matter of 10 days.. I wasn't going to tell anything.. you have to see the show.. GRUMBLE.. I hate when people give stuff away.

Well, i got PMs about my avatar so, here it is:
i think it is an awesome pic from an awesome scene - after the pic, he floats out and lingers (at the same angle) outside the coffin - it just looks so awesome!
Sorry, BSO. It was Beka that helped me, and I mixed up the names

rent's OBCR give away A LOT more than some other shows, cause there's very little dialogue. most of the show is in the recording.
hey fredi, do you realize that the next tour of rent will be called the joanne tour?
Right...same with Brooklyn. Although that was more their choice...I was REALLY surprised the OBCR gave away the ending...

bst - now that's funny...
and rent - being an opera and all - it's good that most of it is in the OBCR...
Oh, I am for SURE going to be crying. I was practically crying just listening to it.
ugh...still haven't gotten to that point on the brooklyn CR
'I was REALLY surprised the OBCR gave away the ending... '
I guess they assume that people who haven't seen it yet will get the highlights (much less money). That doesn't give away anything. In fact, its hard to tell if theres a plot at all.
The OBCR is great however until you see it performed.. And performed well you dont really have a full emotional reaction to it.. There are things in the show that aren't on the OBCR that you dont expect.. I would just say take tissue..
On a side note I love when the cast members are so in character that they have tears streaming down their cheeks in the second act..
Hi Fredi! How are you?
