busy nite here - not my usual night and i'm not as famiiar with the shows...

no game either - which means we are live all night...

AND - this announcer really hates me and i believe is trying to get rid of me...

all this to say - i have to pay extra attention tonight and may be a little slow to respond --

I'm back from the party...at which I got dragged up and made to sing with this folk band that happened to be there...that was...interesting.

my cold that was nothing yesterday has turned into something. i lost my voice, and i've gone through a box of 250 tissues. my nose is a FAUCET!

my parents turned off my alarm this morning, so i missed practice. i COULD have gone and just done some sit ups or something then left, and had it count as a practice. i STILL don't have enough to compete. *curses off stupid state laws* ohh welllll.

then, my sister comes in at 12PM and wakes me up to tell me my math tutor was here... he had to finish what we didnt do yesterday, teaching me MORE of the stuff i missed when i was out (teaching it to myself DOES NOT WORK). so i threw on a pair of jeans and practically poked my eye out putting in my contacts at record speed.

then MORE math... had to do a practice regents. not gone grading it yet, i'll tell you guys what i got later.

that was my exceptionally exciting day.

yeah - one of those days...

this guy loves to give me hell and since he's on camera his mike is hooked into everybody's headset....

and IT'S NOT MY FAULT!! This f***ing computer is a million years old and carrying a heavy burden - it's networked to the entire system here and when there's a lot of network activity it crawls.

i've asked the tech guys to wipe and defrag the hard drive, rebuild the desktop, and reinstall the software - i have no idea of the specs so i'm not sure if the RAM has been maxed or not - but all of that would help - they say their going to try for a new computer but everyone else tells me "it'll never happen" so whatever...

i just don't want to be made to look like an idiot over equipment failure...

but the truth is - he can't make me look like an idiot 'cause i won't let him.

to quote hubby - i'm too big a cat to be f***ed by kittens - at this stage of my life....

now that i've got that off my chest...allow me to realign my priorities and stop wasting my mental currency...

can you look at the capacity of the hard drive in the control panel? and is it possible to delete stuff that isn't necessary, or are you not allowed to do that...?
