It's all pub food, isn't it? Too bad - I'm a hardcore foodie snob. (Thank god I'm going to France and Italy as well! But then again I'm spending a few days in Germany and I'm not a fan of thier food either.)
I've only heard horror stories - basically if it's not scones and tea, STAY AWAY. Food poisoning, generally disgusting pub food, crappy Pizza Huts and ALL OVER PRICED.
BSo, is that the story you were dying to tell Fredi?

yes tiff - i was doing wardrobe in france...
for the first six months in Nice on the riviera - GREAT!!!- sort of a combined wardrobe/co. management position -
really REALLY STRANGE producers - great stories!!! (saving the best ones for the memoirs...) to raw to tell here anyway....
after that i moved to paris and worked as a waitress and sang with a jazz band and did voice-over translations...
basically being a starving blacktress in Paris - it was MONDO COOL!!!
Okay, then this is the reminder that you asked us to tell you that you had something to tell Fredi.
Ooh Russia! When are you going there? I haven't had much Russian food, but their culture and history is so interesting!

Hopefully, in my junior year (that's if I stay in my school and don't transfer)
There's a great Russian place by me - awesome food...
but earlier today i had this wave of study-depression and didn't feel like studying Russian anymore...but i am sure (hoping) that it will pass.

STUFF in France and Italy!!!
land of AMAZING EATING - cross the board - no bad food
in France - DRINK WINE!!! as much as you can stomach--
and the coffee OMG - OMG..... *speechless*
I found homemade food in Italy the best - but luckily for me, i knew people who actually cooked for me...
still - it's italy - after all.....
bso - what did you want to tell me?
My best friend is going off to Italy for three weeks during the summer. At least now he's at the age where hopefully his Italian relatives won't pinch his cheeks. Lol.

French coffee? Vraiment? Better than Italian coffee? Which place has better clothes shopping, Italy or France? I'm not necesasily looking for Chanel or Versace - just trendy stuff. (If I can go there looking like a shlub, and come back dressed like SJP, I'll die a happy gal.)

I think I'd like my first Eurotrip to be the west side of Europe, then my next trip would be eastern Europe. Then I'd save all of middle Europe for later.
b_s_t - Pourquoi est-ce que tu n'est pas sur un avion a France maintenant??

Nothing much. We're talking about Europe, and I just reminded BSo to tell Fredi whatever it was he wanted to tell her.

No, I don't tink so, BSo. *confused*
b_s_t = is that $8000 for just living expenses, or just tuition, or all together? I would have loved to study abroad, but there aren't too many universities that have a Criminology department.
