i feel so bad! this is gonna put a damper on her whole experience with the show. and why NOW? the DAY BEFORE the show that everyone has been anticipating for MONTHS?
it's beyond me why this sh*t happens...

Here's the newest article:
At the moment, production sources are saying it's "not likely" the star will go on tomorrow in what would have been the Tony-winner's final performance in Wicked. Deemed as a possible risk to already injured ribs, it's expected that if the star is unable to perform, she will at the least make an appearance at what was to be her final performance in the show. The final decision will however be made late morning, after an updated evaluation of Idina's condition.
According to audience, and production source reports, Tony-winner Idina Menzel was injured at the Saturday matinee performance of Wicked during Act 2. During the scene in which the Wicked Witch is "melted" behind the silhouette curtain, a trapdoor problem caused Menzel to fall through the floor stopping the show.
The curtain was brought down, and after a 45-minute delay standby Shoshana Bean (and soon to be star) went on for the finale. At the show's end, cast member Joey McIntyre addressed the audience informing them of what had occurred, and assuring them that Menzel would be alright. Both cast and crew were visibly shaken at the show's conclusion, all expressing concern for Idina's well-being and quick recovery.
According to those outside the theater, the stretcher-bound and still green star was taken away by ambulance to an area hospital where she was treated this afternoon. The role tonight was covered by on Saturday evening by standby Shoshana Bean, who's due to take over the role this week Menzel is next schedule to begin filming on the film version of Rent.
Further updates will be posted as they become available.

i dated a guy whose initials were CUM
Refrain- I would say so. I saw the current cast in the middle of December, and it was decent. I would definately see them again. But, it is Rent, and at the moment I can't get enough of that show, lol... The Roger and Mimi are excellent, and I also really liked the Maureen and Joanne. Angel's really good as well, and Collin's isn't bad. Benny gets on my nerves (well, he is Benny, lol) and Drew Lachey is an icky icky icky Mark. But its Rent, so its really fun. The tour's infinately better, but I still stayed up until 1 o'clock gushing about how exciting the show was after the Broadway production. So, yeah. :P
BEKA- The timing is REALLY creepy. Its like she was doomed... *gets paranoid*
I'm going to bed as well.
Once again, best wishes to Idina! This must be REALLY hard for her. Positive vibes and prayers!
Goodnight, folks!

If I marry someone with a last name that begins with 'D', and keep my own last name, too, my initials will be ADHD. If I drop my last name, they'll be ADD.

i like my intitials...
when i went to the amish country, my family and i went on a tour of a farm and house...they held up a vest with a person's initials embroidered inside - and they were mine - very weird...
I would say that the current Maureen is one of the best... and I usually don't like blonde Maureen's, lol (too many pictures of brunette Idina as Maureen, I suppose?). The cast lacks chemisty, though... the title song was totally disastrous, COMPLETELY fell flat. But its pretty good... and it is Rent... I enjoyed it, though the cast was pretty mediocre... but again, I did also like Roger, Mimi, Joanne, and Angel. Its the chemistry that's the big problem...
Ok, I'm REALLY going to bed now.

but from what people have been saying, it sounds like she fell down the trap door too soon - like she was walking towards it...i dunno
Well, if it is the "threatener" and this is the worst he does to her - then good thing....(if that sounds really bad, sorry...hopefull y'all get what I mean!)
I think my grandpa had a lovebird once (I might be wrong). But it was not very loving. It used to scream at people who came in the door.
I'm just tired of this knot in my stomache.. atleast the migraine is finally gone..
now I just need to get down to refill my inhalers and I should be good..
