well shub if it's any consolation - i worked over 500 performances of CATS between ushering and wardrobing...

the best thing about working the same show over and over is seeing how the actors handle the "long run"

seeing who's "on" that night
seeing who's "maintaining" that night and how...
seeing new people come into the role - and learning that which was directed and that which was individual choice...
watching people crank it up for show after show and keeping their performance "fresh" (or not in some cases..)
seeing the "little glitches" that only insiders would see..

i learned SO MUCH from ushering..

Even worth it to me - since I am not only lactose intolerant but also allergic to chocolate

Oh, absolutely, Fredi. I love seeing all the little differences in the performances from night to night. Next week should be great!

OLRefrain, I work as an usher for various Broadway shows, but I'm studying to (hopefully) be on the actual stage someday

::gasp:: that could take a while... but its not impossible. The adam love thread (assuming thats the one you're talking about) is sort of slowing down. Hate to say it, but theres only so much one can say about the guy...
