You had people GOING THROUGH YOUR TRASH?
Did you get their addresses? I imagine you had some hefty therapy bills to send. And yes, you can steal the term famewhore- I think I took it from someone else.
How bad did those stalkers get?

actually - we're splitting 2 (possibly 3) subjects...
Lion King (not my translation - courtesy of LEBO M. who wrote a lot of the music)
Jepardy (why can't I spell tonite?)
2.5 mil? that's pretty darn good!
and
FAMEWHORES!!!
like J-LO (she started off as a "singer" right?)
Edit *meow*

FAMEWHORES!!!
like J-LO (she started off as a "singer" right?)
she was actually decent in Selena
but that's where all her talent ends

No, wasn't she a dancer first? Then an actress. Then a singer. Then a famewhore.

no I didn't get their addresses (and somehow I've never had to pay for therapy - I'm not sure why - I think I've been more blessed than I know...)
but it was spooky - HOW DID THEY GET MY ADDRESS!!! that's the question...
even Equity doesn't have it (certainly not now...) I keep a business address in NYC for these very reasons and all of my "official" stuff is there....so how these folks found out where I acutally lived it what was beyond me...

EDIT - i've done my fair share of searching for celebrity's addresses... i don't know what i'd do with it if i actually found it...

On yahoo.com (I think), you can get anyone's address so long as you know their name.

Does the world really need J-Lo in the spotlight?

Broadway Jepoardy? COOL!!!
and Beka - I'd be proud too!! I'm proud for you
and they probably did follow me home *shudder*
this folks - is why I'm moving BEHIND the camera.... you still need fame in this biz - but director fame is much less intense than actor fame - especially if you keep your face out of the mags.

Oh, broadway jepoardy? I may have to watch. Who will be on?
Fredi, I'm suprised- I would've thought that the entire OBC of Rent would be up to their eyeballs in pyschiatric help. Good for you. And about your address- they could've just used the phonebook.

It has to be hard to stay out of the spotlight though.. It's understandable that directors have an easier go at keeping their private lives.. As much as I would love to be in the business I'm afraid I would crack having people look into every little detail of my life.. And my trash.. That's just insane.

'there literally would be people at my house during RENT - going through my trash, etc...
it was sick - and that's "just" a B'way show - ya know?'
::reluctantly returns pieces of trash to freddi's garbage can::
Just kidding ... I was rather young in 1996 to be seeing rent or knowing who you were
Yea I've heard some crazy stories... some of those people coulda used a nice dose of reality-- Rent is a musical, a show, a work of realistic *fiction*, and the characters are over once the show is over.
