Posted: 11/30/04 at 11:58pmAgreed, Shubert. And as I said on another thread, if I had a hundred screaming children, their pushy mothers and autograph hounds screaming at me for a picture and a signature as if I owed it to them, I'd kick them in the fat F*CKing face and run like hell! She puts up with a lot more than I would!

Hello, Racetrack! I don't think we've met, I'm Steven. And your avatar and username caught my attention because I was just in a [quite illegal] stage version of Newsies! I played Snipeshooter. Haha. Ohk, sorry, carry on with the conversations.

I have my permit, I'm just lazy and hate to practice driving. It ain't pretty with my mother.
Sucks, Fredi. May I ask where you're off to every morning by train?

Posted: 12/1/04 at 12:03amSally, it'll be here sooner than you think. I know that sounds cliche, but it really sneaks up on you. I feel like I looked up and I was suddenly 19 and in my last year as a teenager.

'some people totally take being able to drive for granted...

I turn 16 on the 14th... but not too excited bout the license.. . all thats gonna get me is a lot of errands to run for my mom, taking my sister everywhere, and having to wake up early to drive to school

Posted: 12/1/04 at 12:03amTake the chinatown bus, Cam. It's really cheap. (Or if you book early enough, Greyhound is pretty cheap too and much more comfortable.)

thankee
cam the train isn't bad... i take it everywhere
#1918The Rent Welcome Wagon
Posted: 12/1/04 at 12:04amIf you take the Chinatown bus, be sure to get there really early though. I've had friends whose tickets have been refused because they overbook. If you get there early you'll definitely get a seat.

Newsies was fun, the first time I actually had to dance. My first time I've ever done tap. It was a great time. And your school probably won't do it because it's illegal, there are no rights for it or anything, haha.
Um, I don't drive, I do have my permit, but I'm afraid to learn how to. I don't trust myself. However, I do make a mean left turn at 5 miles an hour!
Hooray for the T and LIRR!

I LOVE driving...
it's not having A CAR right now that sucks...
I commute to work (for a TV station - part of my behind the cam transition) and I work at night (right now) you guys keep me company...
it just takes FOREVER to get here by train
my call time is 4pm - I have to leave my house at 11am to get here by 3:30 (MISERY!!!)
it's only 40mins by car *sigh*
getting home is worse

Posted: 12/1/04 at 12:06amYeah, and it's quite uncomfortable and no-AC. If you can get a cheap Greyhound bus though, it's very comfy and nice.
