And I'm sure Idina gets the same people coming to the stage door constantly. It's understandable for her to be short sometimes.
yes sbrt i suppose so.

Nope cammie, I am not actually a pyschotic fifteen year old.
*thinks*
Er...
Let me rephrase.
I am not actually a drawing of a pyschotic fifteen year old rapist who is obsessed with violence.
Fredi, that's not being a bitch. I've heard people rag on actors for not waiting at the stagedoor and it bugs me. It's not their job. If you get an autograph, consider it a bonus. If not, you got what you paid for.
I was at the stage door once and there were anywhere between 300 and 400 people there waiting for her autograph. She went all the way down the line and out into the street and signed for every person she could reach...sounds like a REAL b**** to me

anxiously waiting for 1/1... when i'm seeing wicked again, this time a night show so hopefully i can meet idina i really hope so... i don't wanna get in her way but i've been a fan since rent...
I shucks, I had an eloquent moment.. **blushes**
I have to admit I got very defensive for the current tour cast when people started bad mouthing them because they weren't nice etc.. Especially when there were mic problems etc during the show.. We as the audience know nothing about the individuals who play the characters. We have no right making those judgements. It is not required that they stay and deal with all the "fangirling" if they do great if not thats fine too.. Cut them some slack..

som - that's EXACTLY what I've always said...
thanks for all the support out there.
Wow I leave for half an hour and the conversation still goes on? I thought this thread was revolving around ME! Er, I mean......good to be back guys.
So what's this about drawing rapists, working with Dee, being a bitch and JLH's boobs? Wow, I missed a lot.

Thanks.
So how was everyone's Tuesday? I never much liked Tuesdays, but this one was alright for me.
Tuesday was much better than Monday..
woah i just realized Fredi posted something back to my question haha this thread runs too fast hehe
Fredi, not bi**y at all! And I'm really trying to picture this, I mean I am a Renthead, I know we all are here but to see the show or to see you like every single day or close to every single day? I mean I don't think even I would do that if I had the chance! lol and thats saying something cuz I would give anything to see the OBC of Rent and meet you talented guys
but wow same people..lol
Just curious, Fredi, did you and the cast ever read the reviews? Of course you guys were in the hub of all the hype, but I was wondering whether or not you guys actually followed what was being said and if it affected how people played their parts. I know actors sort of have to follow the reviews because, you know, it's sells tickets. But is that all it means to them?
Yeah, I guess the stage door is a love/hate thing with actors.
Going back to The Music Man, I always start humming "The Wells Fargo Wagon" whenever I visit the thread, haha.

Tuesdays are annoying. They just sort of exist. You aren't in the middle of the week yet, its not almost friday, its not friday... nothing really special about it.
My day itself was okay though
I agree. When I spoke to Idina at the stage door, I was very quiet and respectful, and she spoke to me exactly the same way. I feel bad that she gets a reputation she doesn't deserve. Besides, she has such a difficult role to play every night, and she can't do too much talking, I'm sure.
My Tuesday was fun! Got back to rehearsal, which was exciting. We still need work, but it's going well. And I spent a ludicrous amount of money at Capezio.
I think the most annoying day is Thursday. So close to the weekend, but so far...

this was a hectic tuesday and a LLLOOOOOONNNGGGG one - it won't actually end until THURSDAY..
why?
BECAUSE I NEED A CAR (*whine*)
Did your car break down or do you just not have one?
My Tuesday was alright, but I better be heading to bed now if I want to make it through Wednesday...night everyone!

Yikes! What happened Fredi, did yours break down? You just aren't lucky with electronics...
What did you get, Shub? And Glory, that's what I think about them.
Fredi, about reviews and such- does word of mouth affect things a lot? Like when people bash or praise a show on a board like this, does the attitude get around??
**hands Fredi the cure all, CHOCOLATE**
She needs a second one.. hehe
