Mine are on Daretosing also...

look for StephanieTheStar...light in the piazza should still be on the first page.

and all that I could do because of you was talk of love...

Just for the record, I think singersshowcase is another good option to daretosing.. And just because you are using the site, doesn't necessarily mean you have to become "one of them" so to speak. I know some people on here have hangups about those sites and how people are on there... If you don't like the way it operates, just think of it as file storage.. AND on singersshowcase you can take it a step further. If you don't want to be a part of the commenting thing, you can choose for your song to be "listen only".. It's just much better than yousendit if you want something that will last...

I know I'll sound like an idiot but what does "bump" mean?

I have a website that uses very little of its bandwidth. I could probably help out with hosting the files. I never check the OT board though, so someone in charge of this party PM me if you need the space.

I love listening to everyone. Makes me wish I had some modicum of talent. :-P
Unfortunately, none of the yousendit links worked.
Jazzmyne, your On My Own is wonderful! I was so impressed!

Very nice sound, ClumsyDude. You sort of switched keys in the first 3 seconds...and your "life" note tends to be a little higher than it should be. Nice record though.

This is my signature.

I posted a sound clip of one of Hope's songs on DTS, because I'm auditioning for Hope in Anything Goes in two days!

Well, I guess I'll revive this thread. Here's a clip of me singing "Run Away With Me" from Brian Lowdermilk's The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown. Enjoy, and let me know what you guys think.

Run Away With Me

"Goodness is rewarded. Hope is guaranteed. Laughter builds strong bones. Right will intercede. Things you've said I often find I need, indeed. I see the world through your eyes. What's black and white is colorized. The knowledge you most dearly prized I'm eager to employ. You said that life has infinite joys."

LOL. Yes, it was supposed to have been tuned the morning before the show, but something happened and it, well... wasn't. Eh, it wasn't TOO out of tune... :-/

Almost all the links I tried are dead...has anything been figured out for reviving them? I really want to hear everybody!

How long does it usually take for daretosing to activate your account?

#117

It can take anywhere from a few hours to a few months.

Hm, I don't think my post went through the first time...anyway, this is my first time posting a clip, don't kill me. I sang Dancing Through Life, of all things. It's not-so-great quality, and my voice was dying...I almost crack on the high notes. I can do way better. *frowns*

I suggest a different song in a higher range. This was at the lowest point of your range and you could probably do a lot better.

I can go lower, MFL, it's just that my voice is kinda shot. But thanks for the advice.

Alright, we'll see if that works. Be warned, I was a bit sick when these were recorded a year or two ago. Oh, and please tell me if they don't work.

Works for me. Very nice. I swear I'm related to Paula Abdul. I'm not very good with this criticism stuff.

Alright, wtf? I finally break down and decide to listen to all of you SHAMELESS (he, he) self promotors, and most of the links don't work. I demand that all of you fix them immediately.

GET ON IT!

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson
